You too can own a dog with an IPO1, KKL1,  HD: Normal.   But, she's "not trained".   And she's a bargain at only $5,000.00.  PT Barnum has finally met his match.

Uh ok.Maybe that mean the sire and dam to her are IPO?

To give the kennel the benefit of the doubt, maybe they are trying to say the dog is not what a 'family companion obedience' trained.

IE:  Not housebroken, is a kennel dog.  Will jump on you, etc.

I say my dogs are Schutzhund trained and people get confused when they see them jump up at me or any of our 'play' because a normal 'pet' family wouldn't want that from an 'obedient' dog.

I don't suppose the dog is actually trained in a different language and the people trying to sell her don't know how to ask her to perform the obedience routine she should know?  The ad states "she's a wonderful family dog", so she must have some manners.

Uh, is it just me, or does anyone else think that she is a  black and red, and NOT a red sable. I wouldnt consider her a sable. Anyone else think like me on this one?

I also do not get it , to my knowledge , i thought that IPO1 title consist of
tracking, obedience, endurance and Bitework
,anyway that's what my dogs had to succeed in to be titled.
Perhaps what the breeder indeed means is that she is not housebroken.

Maybe I have a future in the circus, because I thought it was pretty straightforward. I read it to mean she has great potential to be a family dog, however she is currently a titled brood bitch, and has no obedience with regard to house manners.

My import bitch had zero manners. Anyone who doesn't know a SchH routine would say she had no training at all. She's a KKL1, V rated, SchH titled 2 yr old who doesn't know that you aren't supposed to jump right up on the kitchen table or snatch things out of children's hands. Also not housebroken. Sport training does not equate to real life OB training, and at least this poster is honest!

Colorblind, yes...but honest. The dog is a B&R.

In terms of price, I don't do showlines, but 5 is pushing the upper end of the age limit for big money, but I don't think $5k is bad if her bloodlines are right and her temp. is good. Like I said, I don't know anything about showlines, but in working lines, you can't touch a GOOD (and people will argue and tell me what a great dog they paid less for...but I will guarantee you I wouldn't want it) young GSD who is titled, KKL1, and proven, for $5000 (if importing). If you can find one, someone across the pond didn't want it.

She's not a sable.......
$5000 would probably be around 3300euro??...give or take........thats  a pretty "normal" price range for a titled SL female.
However: at the age of 5....the price could be negotiable by a few hundred $$.??    Pedigree is a decent one.

Thank you, Robin. Seemed reasonable to me, but I know showlines about as well as I know Schnauzers. I would guess in this market, everyone is prepared to negotiate a bit, but you'd probably better ask a price w/a little wiggle room. Just a guess though.
