Today Nala got her stiches removed. The vet said to keep the cone on for a week longer since she might still try rubbing her face/eyes.


Nala is 5 years old today!!!  Thank you Again everyone, If it was not for all your donations and support Nala would not be here with us today..........

So sorry we have not been on here for a while. this has not been a great summer for us.

Nala's doing awesome!!!!!!!! god we are blessed to have her with us still. She saved Mikala's life last night..

Our Daughter was outside with our German Shepherd off of Evergreen Cir. Gilberts
(Kane county)

A Small white car with rust on the bottom of the car and on the drivers door, stopped in the middle of the road and the guy got out

Walking to our Daughter. He did not say nothing while our dog was barking and growling he did not stop, he got closer and our Dog

Took off running at him dragging our Daughter about to attack him . He then ran back to his car..

The guy was in his 20's, white, bold, no face hair

Had a bandanna around his neck, dirty work clothes



Gilbert's police are looking for this car/guy
They said if anyone sees this person to call 911.

also, in june on the 23rd ( a update)

We were on our way to one of Cody's appts. mikala was in front by Sherdell, I was in the back on the right side by Cody.

We were at a stop light and a diesel ran into our car in the back.

I have 3 bulging disc in my neck, mikala's lower back hurts, sherdell's back is hurting him, they are both still going to appts.

Cody is fine, he was the most safe.....in his car seat.

i'm going to post the above in a new thread, and head to bed for a little while we have a day nurse today. we have not had no nusring for 5 days......... days or nights.

I'm still in awwwwwwwww, nala has never had no training, and to protect mikala like she did wow.....

the cop was shocked the guy kept walking to mikala while Nala was wanting to attack him. the cop says he might have been wanting to see what the dog would do.



WE hate to think of what could of happened. to mikala if nala was not with her.

I'm so glad your daughter is safe and Nala was there to protect her.  But it doesn't surprise me that she was so protective, that's a GSD!

she just loves Mikala and Cody so much.....
She has always acted like she has watch them, The kids..

last night even after mikala was asleep on the couch , ( we had no night nurse) so we hand out in the livingroom

Nala wanted to stay by the front door.... most of the time shes on her bed, very odd.

i wonder what she's thinking. About 10 mins ago Mikala went out front with Cody and his day nurse, Nala is crying
so i have the door open so she can see them. and shes crying

Let Nala be their body guard.. It is strange also that someone picked your child. Because you and your family are in the news and on some notices around town raising money...times are hard right now so I would be extra careful when out and about town..Keep Nala close..Now she feels important and feels better in her doggie self and she wants to protect.

Just make sure you keep her on leash so you have control of her when someone approaches and make sure she obeys down and no..

Good luck and so happy things are getting better..I would not live one day here in the Piney woods alone without my kids to keep me safe and at least also let me breathe in peace and sleep without wondering if I will be robbed or knifed or targeted. Many children and older folks get targeted for money and many DERANGED mental people who desire control and our population is so big today , they cannot stop all of them

YR, I am the one that promotes listen to your dog. Well my GSD who loves everyone, hates my Husband, it has gotten worse lately. Think I should have listened to her, LOL>
