Sock Puppet

Jan,

Earlier you said you felt sorry for me. Well please don't you need to put that energy into admitting you have a problem and then getting help to fix the problem. You see as we age some times we can get a little bat shit crazy for lack of a better phrase. I think you need help Jan and I worry about your animals and your husbands mother. I think you are under  tremendous stress and you have plum lost your mind. Please make an appointment to talk with someone and get the help you need.

I just checked your latest post and it is still excuses, you have lost all support here, I know you do not care but here you are posting to a sock puppet in the middle of the night and trying to give more excuses. Life is hard Jan and sometimes it is not fair but it is what it is and sometimes we just have to step back and say wow I really fucked up and I have hurt animals/people and it is my fault and then set about making it right but I dont get that you understand that or are willing to accept it. Until you do the demons will always be their waiting for you looking to control you and make you thier play toy. Rape, molest your mind and turn you into a shell and I sense you are almost their. You keep coming back here why? Please for the sake of the breed you profess to love, give up dogs and get yourself some pet rocks cause the next time you get busted the courts might not be so nice to a repeat offender.

By the way I was the kid on the playground that always stuck up for the weak and handicapped, fought many a bully in my day lost sometimes but always got my licks in and never left the fight without at least standing up for what was right. And Jan I must admit this is not right and you are not right anyone who will do this to a trusting animal is sick and then to not take respondsibility and lay the blame on others is just bat shit crazy.

Jan just stop their is no excuse none no matter which way you spin it, sugar coat it or dress it up it is abuse and you are respondsible period.

Get off your soapbox and get help.

Hi 4pack,
same thing here, it makes my stomach ache - beeing in the medical field (Paramedic) for a long time, I thought that I have seen all wierdos that are out there - heck I am wrong, there is always one to top it !
In the majority dogs are not kept in crates here in Germany, maybe to potty train them, but I rarely heared someone putting a dog in a crate overnight. What sense would that make if someone is breaking in your house & the dog cant get out ??
We have here in Europe very stricked rules on how much space a dog needs. A GSD for instance, if it is kenneld without a run, needs a 8 square meters large kennel. You also have to have a doghouse in that kennel, but this then means your kennel has to be at least 9 square meters.  If the dog is only kept in that kennel for short periods at the time, it can be slightly smaller.
This is quite frightening, to say the least.

One thing I would never, ever do was to take a dog to the local "shelter" for euthanasia. That would have been very convenient (right down the road, about a mile) and it would have cost only $5! I paid more like $60 when I had to do this, but I took them to the veterinarian, where it could be done with some dignity and tranquility for the dog... not just thrown into a small wire cage amidst all the barking and howling and fear, until someone could get to it, hours later. That never seemed right to me.  In fact, it seemed unthinkable.

So, I finally figured out how to have my cake and eat it, too, as the saying goes..  I could preserve the lines on the possibility that I might need them, someday, using frozen semen. You can't be cruel to frozen cells. They don't need to go out for a walk or to relieve themselves. They can stay in the tank indefinitely.. and we don't have to lose our old bloodlines. Usually, life moves forward. But sometimes, we look back and realize that we lost something and should not have let it go. That was also always my thinking. I felt a sense of responsibility not to simply dispose of a dog if it had a potentially useful bloodline. I'm like this about everything. I see the value in some things that others don't notice.. like art or an antique. And, sometimes I have simply saved something of value, only to give it away to someone who appreciates it. I hate to see anything wasted. Maybe I am a hoarder, in that way.. But, I can also be very unselfish and give things to others. I just don't like to see anything of value wasted. On my job, many people would take a whole reel of wire, hang one service drop from it, and throw the rest in the scrap bin, just because they didn't want to carry it in their truck and didn't hope to hang another drop anytime soon. I would always go to this scrap bin and take these partial rolls and use them, instead of taking a new reel from the supply house. I made use of a LOT of good wire that way, and saved the company a lot of money. It's just the way I see things. Other people don't seem to care, but to me, it's important. Everyone talks about the environment and how we are using so many resources and wasting things, but it all goes to the little things you do every day. I try hard to see the value in things and not to waste. If I have to give it away, that's OK, too. I have to make a living, but I don't need much and anyway, I gave the dogs all away, in the end, because I knew it was the only thing I could do for them. Some of those bloodlines are still alive and making a contribution, today. And, I still have them on ice.. I may never use them, but I have them, anyway.. So, for what it's worth, they are not lost.. They are still available.

Well, this is where I was going before the Pet-NAZI's dropped a nuclear bomb in the middle of everything and started killing dogs.

You think I should have gone to prison? I'll tell you the funny part.. These people RELEASED me from prison! It was a prison of my own making! I just wish it didn't have to happen like it did. It was very, very hard on the dogs. And, that was THEIR doing.. not mine. I accepted responsibility for my part, but these guys need to sweep their side of the street clean, and they never will, I think.

HERE IS A WORD OF WISDOM.. When things like this happen, there is usually a little bit of blame to go around for everyone. That is my final analysis on the matter. If they had such a great case, they should not have had to cheat, you know? There are hacks in every profession.. Just some professions are a lot more relevant to the public interest and should be treated as such. Otherwise, they deserve NO respect, in my opinion.

Jan,

I dont think you should have gone to prison I think you should have been committed. Sorry it is the way I feel as I still dont hear remorse all I hear is more excuses. If added up I would bet you have given close to 100 different excuses and it is all bullshit and you know it.

What are these rumors that a bunch of dogs in your care were fried by lightning?

by bazza on 14 April 2010 - 09:04

Why do you start threads on a subject and always turn it around to poor poor you. I notice those crates you posted pictures of are CLEAN, ie. Free of dog shit and piss unlike your vile mind and mouth and the kennels you kept your 60 dogs in. Take a hint....not one person on this International board has come out to support you, in fact the very opposite, I think that says it all. No one believes a word you spew, not interested, or they are just struck dumb by your continuous denials of what has already been proved in a court of law. GOODBYE!!!

You guys just love to rip me  a new one, but it's already been ripped so wide open that I'm wearing my asshole around my earlobes!

So, I had maybe four small litters a year for a couple of years. Big deal! Do you know anything about the dog business, and how crooked some of these people are? Even people you think you know and respect?

How about the people who broker dogs and sell bred bitches to novices on the promise that they'll make a lot of money? How about a guy who won the USA Nationals, boarding / training forty dogs at the same time, to title for breeders who want a title on their dog. How is this even possible? But, I know it's been done! And, naturally, the dog never got titled!

How about some of the really abusive training techniques, like lynching and helicoptering / slamming, which should NEVER be done routinely as training methods?

How about the crooks who are selling "master training courses" to novice wannabe's, for $3,000 a pop or more, and just put them in the kennel, cleaning, never to actually have anything to do with training?

This kind of shit has gone on since so far back.. I have seen SO much hypocracy and crookedness and strife in this business, that it's hard to see how it could be considered a sport, anymore.

So.. You then think that the dogs should all sleep on couches or waterbeds, and live as pets in the home? What about the big kennels in Germany? I see that some have maybe 12 to 20 litters per year, now? Do they have enough couches for all of these dogs to sleep on? I've been to Germany, too, and I have seen how dogs are kept, there. They are kept many ways. I have seen farm dogs that lived in haystacks, and "kennels" that were pretty disgusting, by anyone's standards. But, I guess they were good enough for the Germans.

On another thread, one gal in the USA lets her dog out to run deer and livestock every night, and loses the bitch (inevitable, really) and no one is anything less than sympathetic to her. I would never even sell a dog to her, if I knew she did that. Unbelievable!

I think the subject is YOU and what YOU did to those dogs, please stop trying to justify what you did by telling us all it goes on everywhere, 2 WRONGS DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT.

Nothing was proven in a court of law. There was no trial. No jury, no facts or evidence heard, no decision. It's called a plea and it's a form of settlement. It's strictly a pragmatic decision on both sides.

I cannot believe the depth of legal ignorance on this list.. Maybe it's just a cross section of society out there..

Well, I'm done mud wrestling with the pigs.

By the way, I get so many comments from people saying that they have left this forum and won't post anymore because of this sort of vitriol and venom. So, I have to agree with them, in the end.
