Simon, you want to have somebody you trust and who knows what he or she is looking at, see the dog live in action. Many of European Kennels act appropriately, while some are looking to dump their "problem dogs" on the U.S market.

they contact me and gave me a reference from castlebrook GSD. but they only take bank transfer, is there a way that I can protect myself from fraud? And how does that work? Do I need to clear custom? How to do it?

Hi
I would stay clear of that company. It has nothing to do with Dogs or any other animal for that sake.
Its a printing firm so i don`t see how they get affiliated with GSD`s.
