I need an honest opinion on this 22 months old male.
Thank you

Bhall I think they look fair; I see a little remodeling on the left femur head itself; don't know if they will count that against him and ever so slight on the right side also but not as prominent. Deep sockets though and all else looks great; has he been worked hard as a young dog?? Just my own interest. I know sometimes when they are worked really young they won't get as high a score and sometimes it does not matter what you do with them they look good?? I think you will probably get a fair on this boy. But good luck Nanci Hopefully Molly will respond a others that have some good experience. Best of luck

Is it positioning or do the heads appear not nicely rounded?
by Bhall on 26 September 2010 - 20:09
Let me make it a little bigger.

B. Anderson, Thats what I thought, but I didn't want to go out on a limb and get shot down and give cause for an argument.. The same opinion from someone else, such as you, will be recieved totally different..
Thanks for saying it...
Edited to add:
Bhall, I didn't mean that you would be the one to make argument. You are the least to do that as you are open to other members opinions and don't get mad if they are different than your own...

BHall--are you buying a pet? I wouldn't spend money on a dog with hips that looked like that, unless it was a rescue effort on my part. Those hips will likely not pass OFA, probably a3 if sent to Germany. Just curious--and you can send me a PM--who is this dog?

Bhall: Up close they do not look good enough for you to own depending on what you want to do with him. Couch potato pet maybe OK but not for hard work. Nan

I would like to see examples of what this board considers good hips.
