Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my experience with Kraftwerk K9 and Wayne. When I got my dog from WC he told me over the phone that all of his dogs would be fine with cats. But I new enough to let them interact slowly, however the prey drive in my GSD is such if the cat was running through the house he will chase him down. My cat passed away after 4 months with my dog dieing of natural causes. When I started looking for a GSD for Schutzhund I found WC's website. It was a cool flashy site compared to most and when I called I told them I was looking for a young male to do SCH with and for home protection. I was assured they had only the finest dog in the USA and was told about a lot of pretty awards and wins across the world. Anyway long story short, the dog I ended up with was not a dog for computation. Don't get me wrong I have had my dog for 4 years now and I love him to death but he is not the dog I was promised. Over the years off and on I have contacted WC with questions and the after sale communication has been lacking. As long as WC thinks he is getting more money he is on the ball returning phone calls and emails. I have been looking for a female for a while now but the way they have acted have turned me off to them. I always feel like a mark when talking to them now. Back then I was a big fish and they hooked me good!

Brittney I disagree with your statement about the "working lines" and I completely agree with what Molly said. My dog although really really really would love to get ahold of just 1 of my crazy neighbors gazillion ferile cats and take a chunk out of their hind he knows it's a NO NO. Once in awhile one of the cats gets bold and will try to sneak past him over our fence and he'll just chase them away knowing damn well if he really wanted to catch em he could. Now my other neighbor who lives on the other side of "the cat man" has a Lab named Moose who has killed SEVERAL of "cat mans" felines that have crossed that side of the fence. The Lab has never had any formal obedience or been taught to have a certain level of "self control". I was taught very early on that you MUST have control over your dog at all times, under all circumstances that may or may not take place, in or out of the home. This was a clear case of the breeder just wanting to move a dog and this poor woman paid the painful price.
