I can`t register my dog. - Page 1

Hey. i have a problem with the registration of my dog(jabina tao, sz20721), the father is registrated in the pedigreedatabase, but your site writes, that it can¿t find him(aron vom Bracheler see).. The same problem pops up, when i try to register my dogs mom, lucey von den elf tannen(quino vom herding brook-edda von der glückauf-kaserne.. Is there someone who have the answer to my problem.....?

Find the dogs who are registered, then copy and paste their names in the appropriate places. You should paste them on a notepad temporarily. The spelling is absolutely critical, and if the dog is registered with any prefixes or suffixes, then that is the dog's name. Also consider that sometimes the name in the DATABASE is wrong. Make sure you're spelling it as in the DB (even though that should be corrected - perhaps if true you could try to update them 1st? Unfortunately updates here are very hard). Also, don't use the whole name - drop the articles and prepositions (der, die, von, vom) altogether, because this DB is just fine using the key words of the name.

i had some trouble entering some of my dogs as well, but i think that was during the time of the last crash :0 i just went back in later and reentered the dogs that were lost and fixed the ones that got messed up. they seem to be okay now.

Oh! I think I've had this problem too! Only once. That was 1 of the last times I even attempted to correct something. I knew the sire existed on the DB, but when I went to correct the sire of some dog, his name wouldn't appear - same thing! "Can't find", whatever! So, it has happened this way to me. Too long ago to remember specifics, just that I gave up. Needs to be fixed.
