I have a bitch that doesn't like it but will turn her head and protest. She doess not bite but I would not breed this bitch

SSG, that is precisely what I was referring to when I mentioned that I certainly would not want to be in a bad situation w/such a dog.

Jransom, interesting. Why wouldn't you breed that bitch?

I'll take that kind of dog into a bad situation over the low intensity, medium drive dogs that are on the verge of avoidance in prey any day of the week.

Well this tread has jumped pages since i went to bed last night, What has Sch got to do with grooming , NOTHING; In my own time i was just probing one or two as to see how much training they do with there Dogs ie Jenni who has said i thought we had agreed or reply or not to talk to each other
I cannot ever recall ever making that agreement, But as you seemed to be posting against what i said anyway without mentioning my name , Most do not say who they are talking to at any time on here anyway you guys seem to have a code of your own,
Regards last time as you bring it up for i would not have done the Guys might as well know what took place recently for it makes no difference to me anyway
Guys' i had a mail from one on here wishing me a Happy New Year, and in his letter he mentioned the episode i had with Jenni some time ago,
In his letter he said Jenni and a lot of Guys on here were under the Impression that i said the C word to Jenni, or called her one. That was completely wrong, No where and at no time in my life have i ever thought of a woman in that context regardless of what has been said, So if any of you Guys thought that well you did think wrongly for sure, And as soon as i was told i mailed Jenni to say that i never said or ever  implied that and i appogised if she thought i had

Now SportySchGuy
The above title says you are into the Sch Sport otherwise why put it on here, Once you had replied with how long you had been in the Sport, I was going to ask you what you had a achieved in it, Because if your talent is as big as you talk then you should have at least got your Dog to the USA Nationals or Qualifying for the WUSV if you have not then you are wholly  lacking in the handling and training of your dog
Now Izzy is only 18 months old, She has yet to get her Sch1 till spring But by the end of this year she will be Sch3 and korclassed.
Breeding was going to take place then, but by due to this thread will be put back Instead she will be entered in the Regionals to try and go for the 2011 WUSV team in Austria so then we will see how many issues this dog has and how inept a trainer she has
However some of you shout but you do not come up with the goods you talk round it like Sporty and Keith is another one who puts sly remarks in,  Are you that inadequate a Guy to have to do that Keith, I guess you are.
YR
Yes, i think you would like to get your hands on Izzy, So would many over here, but no chance.
However my brain has finally told me that anything i say on this Forum falls on deaf ears Some of you Guys are so full of your knowledge with Dogs, 1000.s of miles away yet you know the Dog and how to put a thing right which does not bother the handler as i said elsewhere you need to completely dominate your dogs to that degree you knock any character or spirit from the Dog just to say to yourself i showed you, As i said my two pence worth is not needed on here So i will leave some of you to revel in your own Wisdom

Steve

I understand your concerns with this thread. And for the record (mark it down SSG) I myself do not work with Schutzhund Dogs.

And…This thread had nothing to do with Schutzhund Dogs.

Steve asked an honest question, off/on topic – my wife owns a Styling Salon for dogs and she deals with this on a daily basis.

And…to (momentarily) elude the original topic. I work exclusively with PSD/PPD/NDD dog training. I respect anyone who works or simply entertains their dog, Pet, Sport, PSD/PPD whatever.

There have been some honest responses to Steve's thread as well as lighthearted comments.

And unfortunately there have been some ignorant comments made by persons whom I suspect have never even owned a dog.

Steve asked/posed a legitimate question.

If you have no expertise, let alone experience that is worth sharing on this Forum then please keep ignorant comments to yourself

I have just come back from Training and after a 5 week lay off it went well for this Inept Trainer or i think it did
Kim thank you for the truest spoken post on here, I did not ask for advice, i asked if anyone else had a Dog that did not like being brushed.
But if anyone has then keep it to yourself because you will be made out to be a weak and Inept trainer and you will have a Dog who has a Temperament issue besides what else some can think  up.
However Sporty does not live up to his name i guess he is another who talks the talk but cannot produce anything And those sort are usually the same in real life just talkers people without back bone and subtance when it comes to the real deal
I know full well what i say in posts falls on deaf ears most the time, So many who think they are experts with these Dogs, Get your Butts over here and watch some of the greatest Dog trainers in the world working it will make you squirm, and regardless of some of what you may say in the Sch World they are the best in the World in this Tiny Country there are none better as a whole anywhere and that includes Germany and the USA. Facts speak talk does not ,
OH' i made a mistake some of you will be going to watch Dusty and Julian work in the USA, i really wonder why you bother he comes from Belgium

"Keith is another one who puts sly remarks in, Are you that inadequate a Guy to have to do that Keith, I guess you are."

Seriously?

You're right, Steve; we're all jealous.  We wish that we had had the opportunity to have started training dogs while still in the womb like you did, that we were perfect dog trainers in every respect, that our dogs were flawless and representative of the ideal like Izzy and that even Chuck Norris would quake in his boots at the thought of meeting us in a dark alley like he does you.  Sadly, the rest of us are, as you so aptly put it, inadequate and destined to live in your larger-than-life shadow.  Please forgive us the transgression of having offered our opinions on a public opinion forum and do not smite us.
