I joined this database because it was ALL ABOUT THE GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG, so please tell me why it is NOW an ALL BREEDS FORUM ???

Hi dogshome9, There are now 4 seperate forums, listed on the left hand side. This forum is for all breeds, we also have GERMAN SHEPHERD, an OT, and HOT TOPICS. Hope this helps. mrdarcy (mod)

Kinda reminds me of Cubs fans. It's all about "our" team, we don't know anything about baseball as a whole or other teams in general but if you play for the Cub that means you're like us and nobody else has the right to even play. Problem with that way of thinking is, the Cub have been terrible for 100 years and counting and their fans are obnoxious, infantile poor sports.

This has been the General Topic Forum, now named the All Breeds (general) forum all along. Because of double posting, here and in the GSD specific forum, it felt more like a GSD only forum, but that was not, and is not the case. If you don't want to be bothered by non-GSD posts, feel free to wander on over to the GSD specific forum it's at http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/forum.html

Let's just stick strictly with the GSD--I hate to wade through a maze of other posts and wish that more professional breeders would post their comments so we can learn by them. I get sick of hearing from people that have no idea what they are doing and use it as a gossip forum to ridicule people who are trying to reach out for legitimate answers.

Ron, that's exactly the reason Oli created a separate GSD forum. You will find the link on the left side of the page.
He is diversifying the forums to draw in more members. If you don't do that a messageboard will stagnate and die.

I thought life was suppose to be versatile and People could relate to other topics in their life and not always about GSD>
Sure like the new changes and we can all go to the one we like the most..
