Hi, All!  I have a questions for all who may know.  Our club helper is going to help me handle one of my dogs for Sieger and I need to get him something appropriate to wear.  I have looked online, but don't know exactly what I am looking for.  Would it be a basketball suit?  A track suit?  What?  Or is there just any place that sells "handler apparel"?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
W

if your talking about the Sieger in Dallas this months, maybe you can look at these photos and decide.........

the handlers wore "normal clothes" at the SE Regional in near Atlanta just a few weeks ago.

He wants a sports suit so I want to get him one.  In fact his request in Black and Red.  My club has been so helpful so I should get him one of those suits to say, "Thanks" anyway.

Sounds like a track suit ensemble would be the way to go, IMHO   yes  Made out of that parachute/windbreaker material for hot Dallas? Dog hair slides off easier, as opposed to the silky basketball warm-ups material, in my experience.

try the apparel from the running store they have very light material stuff for hot / humid weather

The handler "usually " wears a warm-up or trackssuits in the dog-owner's "stable. (kennel) colors. Tracey Bullinger's handlers and "people" wear [just a bit less than] cobalt blue suits with the kennel name down the leg in rust/sienna. Another had their handlers and other people in hunter green suits with gold lettering. So, you can use your kennel/stable colors, or take the opportunity to create/choose your colors, if you don'talready have them.

I think tracksuit/warmups are the way to go.  It looks appropriate and is not distracting.  Plus, you can get them in your kennel or club colors, with a logo or name on them.  I like handlers and dogs to be viewed as athletes so they should dress that way.  Girls need to be careful with tops, I've seen WAY to much of some people leaning forward to stack dogs.  I like the Huerta Hof outfits the best.  They have nice track suit time outfits with a logo, very clean and sporty looking. I've also seen them in athletic polo style shirts for warm days.

Luckily my handlers request is in my kennel colors.  Black/red/white we are on same page with that.  I don't see "tracksuits" that have the half calf zippers or straight leg.  I see pants that look more tapered under "tracksuit".  The ones that look like German style are the Soccer warmups.  Is that the right style?  I like the boxer warmups a great deal, but are they too flashy for men?

Here is the boxer warmups.

Thank you VKGSD!
Our Team member Maria.. aka Pocahontas (you know she is) LOL!... located our uniform pieces.
The logo is actually our dogs.....the back out line is of Carlos von Huerta Hof (Cuervo's  litter brother)...and the front embroidery is of Chulla (Cuervo's litter sister).
We really like the uniforms....they are pretty simple and classic looking. IMO.

Thanks again!
Robin
