Are all of these dogs ie Remo, Schicco, Ober owned by the chinese- what is this world coming to.

Well, kudos to them, they are willing to spend money and buy top quality dogs..how many breeders in USA are willing to do that?..
I know a bunch of breeders that are always contempt with having a nice looking dog, that produce pretty puppies, and will never spend money on a titled dog nor a top dog...They won't even want to pay for a breeding,just give a puppy...The truth is,most breeders, just want to make money,period, the bottom line
Yes, maybe those orientals ( not all are chinese..) have money to spend, there are certainly loans you can take or maybe form a group from a club to own a top dog....we can make it happen,if we want to......I recently bought a top BSZS placing dog,put some money on a credit card to do it, what do you think some of the breeders say around here, that I am crazy, that is not worth it, that people that buy the puppies don't really care about top quality,etc

Ober is still in Germany , Schicco was sold to China

Where is Remo and who owns him- I have a 1 year old Remo progeny male- great dog to say the least

To my knowledge Shicco was recently sold to China though i do not know if the dog has gone there or remains in Germany.Remo was purchased by Josephine Kao of Taiwan before he became VA and lives in Germany.Ober is owned by Imran Hussein of Pakistan and lives in Germany.

It's always a frustration when top dogs become out of reach for breeders, but anyone in the world has a right to buy an excellent dog should they so choose.
I have heard that Remo will be going to China next year? I was hoping to breed to him next year.

I agree with Jdiaz--I would pay that much for a top dog if I had the money. I would buy Ober in a minute. I have a 3 year old sch 1 tilted daughter of Ober and she is SUPER !!!!!!! Her character and temperment are out of this world.

Didn't I read somewhere they were eating Shepherds in some Asian countries? Maybe it's like importing caviar to them. The ribbons make it taste better
