Greetings,
There has been a lot of discussions on people who are cheating buyers out of their money when it comes to importing. What are some good precautions to take before importing? What questions should one ask? What should a person get in writing to guarantee there will be no foul play? Is there a way to safeguard things from going wrong?

Buy from someone you know or in person; through the internet, there is nothing you can do, you have to send the money and pray they deliver, if price sounds too cheap, then beware, but who doesn't like a bargain
.....I know him personally, but the only person through the internet that has ALWAYS deliver the quality expected in 20 or so years importing GSDS, is Hans-Peter Rieker , from von Bad-Boll......others I had bought from, sooner or later, something was not right..
Time and time again I had warned people here, and still I see messages of people getting robbed...get on a plane, get a GPS and go to the shows and meet people, buy in person....Good luck

Decide what type of dog you want and look for someone that has what you are looking for. They will have results, references, and a track record you can follow. They will need to be at or above the level you wish to be. They can do no better for you than they have done for themselves.
