Be careful for Jerry Mace, he sold me a syco  German shepherd with a bad hip!

have you contacted him about your being unhappy with your dogs' temperament and told him about the x-rays?  Or have you had the dog x-rayed?  communication is always better as a first step before bashing the breeder/seller, don't you think?

Jerry Mace, is a down to earth decent guy... if you have issues with him, then do the right thing and contact him personally. Bringing your personal business here, will not correct the situation... I hope you understand what I am saying...

I don't know Jerry personally but I have had several phone conversations with him over the past 2 weeks as the kennel that i work for just purchased a young male from him for police K9 work.  I found Jerry to be a very nice man who was easy to work with.  The dog that was purchased was exactly as described and we could not possibly be happier with him.  We had him re-x-rayed the day after he was shipped (we do this with every dog we purchase) and the hips and elbows are all good, the dog received a clean bill of health.  I have absolutely no complaints about dealing with and purchasing a dog from Jerry Mace and would not hesitate to contact him again if he has another dog that suits our needs.  The dog we purchased is Tagger vom Haus Salztalblick, and he is freakin' awesome, I only wish I had purchased him myself because I would love to own him more than anything!!!

The adult dog that Vicki is talking about was a Adult Bomber Imported son.His name was Hanibal.Everything went fine with the deal to sell the dog to Vicki. She then turned around and resold the dog the day it arrived. Then that owner could not handle this dog and he was dropped off at a Kennel in West Palm Beach with a Police Trainer. The Police trainer contacted me and wanted to trade Hanibal for a smaller K9 for Police work.We are very troubled by the movement for this poor dog.The dog was sold with his xrays and a full contract. We have not been contacted by anyone in over a year in regards to Hanibal.

It would be interesting to see if that 'bad hip' that V L Armor alleges is the result of an injury that occured in the shuffling process, since apparently the dog's hips were clear when he was x-rayed.

Jerry Lee, do you know the whereabouts of poor Hanibal at this point?

What a crying shame. Another dog bought, sold AND unwanted....blah,blah,blah.
Funny how all these people find their way here, only to complain about this one, that one and the other one.
I myself, just don't understand the dog business I guess. How in the HELL do so many people sell their older dogs???
And more so, WHY in the HELL do so many people set out to buy an older dog, trained...yada,yada,yada...only to not have a clue on what they are getting into, and than, Once again, the poor dog suffers.

I have no idea where Hanibal is at this point.I have had no contact with the person I sold the dog to for over a year.He was a very strong biting dog as the client requested.

What a shame. It's things like this that make me hesitant on breeding. Double edged sword..
