My husband and I are going ( as spectators ) to the NASS 2011 in VA at the end of October....I am very excited about attending a GSD conformation show for the first time. Having the NASS within driving distance ( 7 hours ) is something I wanted to take advantage of. I plan on getting some pictures and videos while I am there to share on the forum.....

Sounds like a lot of fun, you will have to let us know how it is! I was just as excited USCA nationals within driving distance this year. :) Would love to also have a NASS show close by.

Make sure you share with us a detailed report of your impressions, Ruger1. For the rest of us who can't go...! Sounds like a great time. One of these days, I'd really like to go myself. (My DH would rather go to a car show, too bad for me.)

I don't know enough about sls to venture a guess but those of you who do... It would be interesting for us newer sl folks if you guys looked at the list and maybe told us who your favorites are and why.

My husband is being a very good sport about taking me all the way to VA to see a conformation show. I feel bad, but I told him it was a dog show and his only experience with dogs shows was the PSA show we attended in Columbus LOL.... Of course I did not tell him it was a "beauty pageant" ( those are his words, not mine lol.) until after the reservations were made and paid for lol...

I am not the greatest photographer, but I am hoping to get some decent pics and videos to show everyone....: ) And details too of course,,,I am all about details. I am a woman!!!...;)

I've attended two Sieger Shows now (NASS '07 and USA '08) as a spectator and enjoyed both. I wanted to go to NASS this year, but I just started a new job and can't really afford to take the time off for a trip to Virginia and back.
I'm hoping to be able to go next year, though. Well, not "hoping". I WILL be going next year. Should have some considerable vacation time built up by then.

Shoot as many pics and videos as you can, don't depend on memory alone do write down as detailed details as you can, I'd love to hear all and see all pics, lol. Good luck, enjoy it, don't forget drive safely, see you.

SchaeferhundScgH.. What are your dogs names??? I am trying to keep a list so I can recognize people from the database...: )

Ibrahim...I will do my best. I will be using a new camera/video so I need to learn how to work it lol...I am not very good with electronics lol..I am starting a notebook now to try and keep up with our friends and their dogs from the database...
