What do you prefer And why ???? East German Working Dogs Or West German working dogs?

I think many on here would prefer combinations, and not just one specific line.  There are some good combos of DDR/West out there that produce nice working dogs.  I personally do like the dark pigment, and big blocky heads of the East German (DDR) lines though.

I bought Showline, Czech and Czech/west work line, from my experience I learned it does not matter what line etc, what matters in the end is the dog itself. My best dog in character is this one, link below, he's Czech/west and he is from a small breeder, not very well known, and the irony it was the least I paid for, only euro 400, his breeder did not lie to me, I bought him based on internet ad and through e mail communication, me and the breeder could barely understand each other, morover his daddy is not a proven or well known stud, maybe no one over here ever heard of him, after gaining more knowledge on the breed and getting more cautious all I bought did not meet my expectations and I was fooled and lied to, amazing indeed !!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the dog, my never ending joy.

I like my DDR girl a lot... she has me sold on them!

But really, it comes down to the dog itself.

(Orwell looks wonderful!!)

It definitely depends on the dog, and wether or not you can trust what the breeder says about their dogs.
