Fozzie,
I'm not sure I could take any more of that kind of insanity
I don't think I could drink my way through something even worse
than some of the craziness I read on various boards, let alone
another that may be even worse lol

The video's you posted were nice too!

Glad others "get it".

This is good stuff.  I love the people that bash everyone else training, including SchH people and Police K-9 handlers but have never trained, titled or competed with a dog in any type of competitive protection sport.  Sure, they breed litters of puppies, from the best dam and studs in the world but have never trained or titled their dogs themselves.  How can you actually evaluate a handler or a dog for that matter when you have never done it.  I tend to listen to the people that "have been there and done that."  I find on average the biggest SchH bashers are the ones that lack the ability to do it.

The only thing that pisses me off are the changes. I can't keep up with some of them and next thing I know is I caused my dog 3 points only on handling errors.

I enjoy Schutzhund, now IPO makes me a better handler, I also enjoy PSA, I will do PSA again! I also enjoy tracking and I enjoy obedience, I like to see the puzzle come together.
Well Am I Debbie Zappia... hell no, but I sure can say.. I screwed the dog myself by trying to get better at this... we work well together!
I am not a K9 officer, I only worked in a security company with my dog patrolling and the male had a Zvv title, he was cross trained in searches as I had to do them at work.
Yah, the points were crappy but we somehow did it!
Love the relationship that handles and their dogs have, it is partnership, understanding of the dog, body language and getting into their head to get to know how the animal think is priceless. The shit talkers can kiss my you know what.....

Slam,
"They" fear what they do not know, so therefore they bash

It's easier (cheaper too!) to sit back and type about
how much better your dogs are, how much you know etc.

I'm thinking of starting a "virtual Schutzhund" club

Martina,
It can be about you, all about you.  You work your dogs, you deserve a thread about you.  Do you want to start it or should I?

A virtual SchH club sounds interesting.  Can we get virtual titles?  I know a few people that need to title their dogs, this may be a good way.  You can go to College online these day, why not get SchH titles.
