Attention Labradoodle owners ( groomer rant) - Page 1

I may be the first to inform you of this but your dog is HALF POODLE.  Please do not take your dog to a groomer and say "do not make him look like a poodle".
What does that mean?  Shaving a dog bald does not make him look like a poodle, unless genetically he has more "poodle" in his looks.  It is highly unlikely that I can wave a wand and perform this modern miracle.
Do not take him to the groomer once a year and ask to have him left long.  Umm YOUR DOG IS HALF POODLE!!!  If you require him to be left longer he must be groomed every 6-8 weeks. WHY??? Because he is half poodle..
Did I mention that your dog is HALF POODLE?????  Don't get mad at me that your $2000 designer dog requires rediculas amounts of grooming.  I would think you could shell out the 60 bucks more than once a year.

hahahaha, I have a groomer friend who has the same problems. And she HATES Labrodoodles, as do I, I think any "oodle" is ridiculous if it's not a "poodle". Just saying. My cousin has a Shitzu/poodle mix, which I have diligently named a "shit-poo", not "shi-doodle"

I dont hate any breed but I find the owners of some doodles can be rather goofy.   Labradoodles are the most labor intesive cross breed on the planet.  Wheaton terriers run a very close second followed by Standard Poodles.  By cross breeding too labs and goldens you make the coat darn near impossible to work with.  Soooo either brush the pooch or shave it.  But dont bring me a 2 year old dog with a lab temperment in for its first groom!!!  ( and for some reason they are rarely trained) This dog was so matted that I had to shave with a #10 blade.  Well imagine clipping a 100 pound dog with no manners.  It was a rough rough day. So after battling this behemoth the owner said !@#$ now the dog looks like a poodle.  First time in my life I wanted to shove a dog up someones bum.  Not even a thank you.....

This is so funny to me!! I have a friend that has a cavapoo (I guess that is how you spell it) and she complains all the time about how she has to groom the dog and how much it looks like a poodle. Why she didn't just get a king charles caviler spaniel I will never know. I have to laugh at her every time she tells me this. I tell her "why do you think they have the poo on the end of their name?" I am not sure what she thought she was getting when she bought that poor dog. 

Just did two more today?  Where are they all coming from?  Or maybe I just woke up in Hell. That has to be it.... Wonder what I did bad?
