We have a dwarf called 'Teddy' who was born on 1st September 1995 so is now 11 years old. Is he the longest living dwarf ever or are there others that have lived this long. We were told that he would only live a few months as he had a very serious heart problem. We decided to give him a life and he is still here. He is a character and totally spoilt!!! We take him to training class and Shows occasionally so that people can see him and ask questions about him if they wish to know more about this condition. We don't hide him away. If anyone wants to know his breeding I will gladly supply it.

The only dwarf that I personally knew was Kelly v.Dan Alhedy's hoeve and she died a couple of years ago at the age of 8. She was a great dog inspite of her size.

I had a dwarf by Lasso Neuen Berg (!) out of a Visum Arminius bitch. Don't know if he's still alive or not. I gave him to a friend of mine who loved him to death.
