Shelley Strohl

I'm thinking about buying a sleeve to have around for visiting helpers who arrive sans equipt. Want something not too heavy, good trial/bite-building level bite bar. Left arm... Probably won't be used much, but don't want "junk." Suggestions?

Hello Shelley, I like the Jumas sleeve that I have, but cannot say what is better/worse. Hey, I liked your other screen name. Bob-O

I prefer the Schweikert 5980 or 5982. They are very comfortable and the bar inside the sleeve is positioned at the correct angle. I have used some sleeves where the angle is off and after a while of working dogs it can cause some discomfort in the wrist, Shawn

I love my Gappay 110 arm, the soft trial sleeve. Very nice for all types of dogs. Kurt USA bite the maker is Klin the handle is adjustable...I would also look on Ebay use schutzhund for the item search ...you can get some slightly used sleeves for pennies. Good Luck

Gappay and Elite K9 has a good one. Whatever you buy just make sure it doesnt fall apart. There were some issues with Active Dog sleeves a week or so ago.

I am very satisfied with Gappay sleeves - their form enables dogs to have full bites and they are comfortable for the helper as well.

Thanks all. BTW: Both screen names "fit", or so I'm told. Being called a"Bitch" is HIGH PRAISE in my household! LOL A good bitch is hard to find, expensive to aquire, and gets more expensive with age... I stand as a prime example of all of the above... and roud of it! :)))

Vom Brunhaus, what were mentioning about activedogs? We carried activedog equipment for a while and even tested some of their sleeves when they started making them about a year ago. Needless to day, we don't carry them for obvious reasons. I would like to see what was posted on here about their equipment, as they write a lot of their own reviews. Can you post the link?
