I see ZW and ZB listed as part of the breed ratings for some dogs. I have heard explanations of ZW, but what is ZB?

You can go on www.nwk9.com/pedigree_czech.htm There you will find what ZB means. It is Zucht Bewertung which means Breeding Value. I hope that helps.

It is just the minor difference in the German words for the English equivilents of "value" and "valuation". In the case mentioned, it means virtually the same thing.

T. your really getting into those abbs. Bob is right I was going to tell you the same thing breed worth & breed value, pretty much the same meaning.

ZB = Zuchtbewertung = Show Rating.
ZW = Zuchtwert = Hip Score (literally).
Two completely different meanings, although the word is similar.
