I don't have anything to say about the subject matter at hand, but Rule 20 of the Terms of Service states as follows: "Claims of action, flames, and calls to action against any company or person will be removed." Seems to me a topic entitled "IAMS Dogfoods - PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!" runs afoul of the TOS right from the get-go. I'm not suggesting it be removed, but let's put it this way: the task of moderating appears to be a quite subjective and discretionary one.

David-- Just finished reading. Not really sure what to infer from your suggestion. Are you saying that DDR's posts should have been deleted? What I read last night didn't, in my mind, constitute a reason to be singled out. (Unless of course, he wrote more after I went to bed, cursing and promoting illegal endeavors). I just would rather make up my own mind about different subjects. Threads disappear constantly, taking some very relevant info with them. Hearts and flowers out of certain mouths, who are adept at winning friends and popularity contests don't make their ideas and thoughts necessarily more valid and 'right' than others. Sorry, if I overstepped the bounds---not my intention to create havoc---just trying to be fair, and discern the truth.

p59t--- Although I hate a--kissers, I have to say, I am thankful someone got the gist of my thread. Now, I think I'll go and read that article you suggested.

I agree maybe Iams name shouldn't be used. Fair is fair. I deff think DDR overstepped his or her bounds saying animal right activists run rampant on the board and that they are like a cult and reffered to some people on the thread as, Pet Nazi's. There was just no call for it. We all agreed PETA is a bit over the top when it comes to their stories. No need to start getting nasty and starting fighst between board members. Some of my own posts in the past have up and disapeard. After sleeping on it at night I was rather glad to see them vanish. Sometimes what comes out isn't about the dogs anymore and really doesn't need to take up space on this board. In this world of no emotion sometimes hearts and flowers are refreshing to see. It's not a popularity contest. I like everyone else try to get my point accross, this doesn't mean I'm shoving it down anyones throat. We all come her for the dogs, be it info, questions, answers, or just fun stories. I think there is room for it all. Something you don't agree with??? Ignore it or speak your mind, it's your call.

4 Pack - this messageboard has been boring of late and although I think DDR talks alot of tripe, I dont think he overstepped the mark. This has been quite a good thread and this forum is a great way to let of steam, even if it is indirectly associated with GSDs. People should not hold back with there opinions as long as it is not illegal or going into the territiory of sickos. After a hard day at work and its getting cold and dark here now, I look forward to sitting reading these excellant posts with a dram of good malt whisky!

4pack--- I try to keep any difference of opinion purely objective. You made it personal and confrontational when you said "build your own". For some reason, I now feel (could be wrong) that you assume 'Bullying', and 'Hearts and Flowers' were words that were aimed at you, personally. They weren't, 4pack. But there you go again--challenging me with "Something you don't agree with??? Ignore it or speak your mind, it's your call." Enough with the wildwest. You challenge, my dna forces me to respond. But to respond, is ridiculous. (And 4pack, when it comes to the ill treatment of any animal--no one tops me on an emotional scale). I'd say maybe you start reading the posts of the contibutors of ALL these threads, and get a vibe about some people-- BUT--So many threads have disappeared, deleting some very mean remarks by a few. How can you now get a clear picture? Only know this--I am not the enemy.

LMH I understand your viewpoint, and I can kick butt like any other, I also appreciate 'Assinhala's' comments, we all enjoy some spice, sugar is nice but 'spice' is more tasty. - just occasionally we (I) can overstep the mark.

Don't look at you like the enemy LMH, nothing personal just allot of people worried about the moderating here. It's a board manned by one person, created by one person. Nowhere does it say it will not be censored. I'm saying you read the rules when you became a member, quit your bitchin', or keep on, your choice. Did I challenge you? I don't feel I did. I said my piece. Wildwest guys...? I'm still laughing at that one. BabyEagle I'm all girl here. Not too concerned with anybody but my dogs DNA.
