Site working and not working - Page 5

Oh, I just thought of something ... it made a difference for me when I ran the Malwarebytes in safe mode... it wouldn't hurt to try?  And maybe get rid of any duplicate or old versions of apps.

I cannot post pics on this forum, regardless of the format.

I was able to post a pic on the GSD forum in a thread that was created today (Puppy pics...I linked to it above.) I can see the photo in the first post on that thread.

I was NOT able to post a pic in the thread Fawndallas created two days ago called "Lets' have some dignified pictures'. I cannot see photos in that thread.

Sooo, putting my deduction skills to work: there must have been a change Oli made to the GSD forum in the last two days that now allows me to see and post pictures. The All Breeds forum hasn't had this change.

I am also going to clear my cache and see if that helps. Should have thought of that earlier!

Edit: clearing the cache and history made no difference.

Update: Trying to use spellcheck and get a 404 error.

I haven't been able to replicate Sunsilver's issue.

VKGSDs, thanks for trying. I think I have something that might be the key. You posted in the Longest Tongue thread today. Well, I posted there yesterday, and was actually able to post a picture of my dog, as well as see everyone else's pictures and avatars.

Then the thread moved to Page 2, and the pictures are blocked for me again. If someone can figure out what happened between Page 1 and Page 2, maybe you'll get this problem licked for me.

Suddenly, I am able to see pictures in Steph's thread, "Teed off at rescues!" but Beetree says the pictures SHE posted disappeared before her eyes!

This is the first time I've been able to see pictures in this particular thread.

Hot Topics shows duplicates and now the OT is leading the list?  OT never was to be included, I thought? Does that mean it is google searchable?



PS to Sunsilver... that was kitkat, not me, but directed to me. Not that it really matters, lol

This particular glitch is driving me crazy.... when I am writing a post in the message box and I want to start a new paragraph by hitting the return button, it causes the scroll bar to go all the way to the bottom and I can't see what I am typing any more. I have to scroll back up. 

Also, the type used to be self-contained within the message box, now it just keeps on going and grows scroll bars, so I can't read everything in a simple view. I don't particularly like that either.

I have the first issue you mentioned also Bee, not the second though.

Today I noticed the "green lock" showed up on the URL.   I know it has been in the planning and is part of all the site work going on here, lately... thanks for that... because the google-based ads are all gone, too....!   (I bet it won't stay like that for long.. lol.!)
