I am not promoting anything. I was promoting the stud and dam when selling the pupps. I had a legitimate question. For anyone who sells here do you not sell to anyone other than pet or sport home. There are many other markets. Maybe you dont know but there are importer trainers that bring in 20-30 dogs a month from Germany for selling to police and personal protection homes. Some of Germany's best breeders work with these people in volume so what are you talking about. Correct any contract can be broken but I had to personally put a letter of credit guaranteeing my business because the stud owner cares more for dogs than anyone I have ever met. His dogs, great good or bad, he will never sell. They are family and that is how he treats the pupps of his stud. Very limiting contract but I know it comes from love. I followed all his rules which I assure are much tighter than anything anyone who criticizes above.

Not even going here..... everything I've thought has been said more than once..... Sorry ANA, bad move and to whoever questioned Molly on why selling 2 littermates to the same family is not the right thing to do either, boy do you have a lot to learn... First, ONE puppy is a TON of work, usually more than the average family is able to handle.. I can't handle it, and I've been doing this a very long time and raising pups is my "thing".. Second, puppies are very expensive and two are more... again... it just doesn't work Third, puppies will bond to each other and not give a spit about the people they live with and then one or both will end up with a rescue or in a pound or back to the breeder or worse, much worse People get 2 puppies because they think they can raise each other and it leaves them free to do what they want..just doesn't work..... seen it a gazillion times..It's our society, we want and we want but we don't want to do the work!! And I'm sure Molly will agree with me, most buyers who put on a good show about being gungho and knowledgeable are fibbing to us and we find out later, the hard way .. that's why a really good buyer who listens to us and keeps in touch is a dream come true and few and far between!!

Red Flags... I would not sell an entire litter to anyone ever !! Myabe that's just me. Ana are these pups microchipped ? How on earth will you be able to keep track of these dogs, will you be driving up there every few weeks ? Ana You can not get angry with people when you come here ask a question as openended as yours was, and then people give you they're ideas. If your going to get angry about the responses you get, don't ask the question. You asked for idea's, comments, and you got them, each person here has expressed they're opinions. Which is what you asked them to do. and that's just my opinion. Happy Holiday's Everyone !!

Yes I did miss it Blitzen. Merry Christmas as well. Jen. Of course the buyer lives only 30 minutes from me and do special contract work. The dogs are only resold or returned if they do not work out and they are treated very well and worked and trained daily. This I know because I can drive by and see them. We originally cheked the lines on all 6 and approved 4 for breeding to the studs lines. The other 2 may be too close a line breed on 2 dogs but we believe it should not be a problem. I did not have to ask to many questions as he was clear about everything and he explained why he wants the whole litter but I just would have tested instead of buying them all if I was him.

Folks, she is promoting her "Stud", and her puppies. See through the fog. There never was two litters sold all together. But, even if, why would you sell three pups to relatives via deposits and then sell those promised pups to a stranger. Either your relatives and your word (contract, verbal or otherwise) mean nothing or you convinces your relatives that you were going to be paid a lot more money for those same pups by some idiot stranger. I believe this all never happened and she just wants to be begged to name her "Stud", or she (ANA) is really, really, really, everything wrong in the world of GSD breeding. It's Christmas time ANA. Didn't any of the relatives you promosed to sell puppies to, have children waiting for one of those "precious little ones" you brought into the world. Way to go. Go after the money, honey. By the way, I could care less who the stud or dam is :)

by Blitzen on 24 December 2006 - 17:12

It sounds as if you already knew then why he bought both litters. Why your original post?

by baxter on 24 December 2006 - 17:12

I have been reading these post now for about a year or so and have never heard anything like this. You may have not only made the mistake of selling in an incorrect way(for the pups benefit) but if you took a check for two litters at 1250.00 each better make sure you can cash it....something smells. What was your intention with the litter....what were you trying to do? This website is in short dedicated to the German Shepherd working, show, companion and the people who love them. One can only imagine all the tragic mistakes with the breed that are happening behind closed doors. I just don't understand this propensity to breed and why it persists? Its just so damn sad! One must have a purpose to breed and cash is not a purpose. Now, go get them back!

by ANA on 24 December 2006 - 17:12

Echo you are correct. I should have been more clear but it is difficult without writing a big big long story. Happy Holidays to you to. To answer, the pupps are not microchipped but must be at 7-8 weeks of age or tatooed. The buyer has to notify me if they are ever moved and which ones from our area but he can as long as they stay in their possession. I see where they are every couple days close to where is my home. Also to clarify the other 4 dogs live across the country not with me with my partners. We will be using the stud but it is not unlike anyone else doing a stud with their stud dog to bitches across our country.

And it just gets better and better............
