I can copy any number of internet articles here that are written against using electronics to train dogs, some written by experienced dog people. There would be no point in doing that since it all boils down to one thing - a personal opinion based on personal experiences.

According to this, there are electric devises for sale that are intended to be used on the dog's testicles.

This device is known as the "Miniature Electronic Testicle Shocker",

and obviously that's JUST what it's designed for.

It's an ultra tiny electronic shock collar, made specifically for use on testicles.

It features an adjustable velcro strap, so one size will fit all dogs.

XXXXX has devised a unique "testicle adapter replacement kit",

which permits this amazing device to be used on female dogs as well.

Don't be fooled by the tiny size and weight - under 1/2 ounce,

the METS packs a wallop comparable to a stealth missile.

Thanks to XXXX, "STIM" has now taken on a whole new dimension.

"Shocking Testicles In Miniature"

For those super-pro world expert trainers who DO shock dogs

on their testicles to train outs, this could be the solution of a lifetime.

Question:
I get very turned on by punishing my husband by shocking his privates with a remote control shock collar. Why do I enjoy this, n are there any other women who have done this or even wanted to??

Answer:
Oh men, i will burn that collar and kick my GF out if she ever do that to me! electrifying his balls could kills sperms and damages his reproductive organ and will make the guy impotent.!

Yes, this is a joke, but I did find it on the net...honestly. It seems that some guys and gals are interested in using e-collars in this manner. Some have documented it on You Tube. This could be a target market for used e-collars?

OK So what is a Dutch Wipe?. I keep thinking it is a wipe to be kept in the bathroom as the final clean up.

Blitzen   It was a joke

http://www.sl-prokeys.com/wffcw/vl_invent.htm

Voodoo Lou Castle (Internet Blowhard) made the claim that some e-collar trainers shocked their dogs testicles (the same kind of unsubstantiated claims made here)  Steve Leigh was poking fun at Voodoo Lou Castle

RE: Dutch Wipe

According to the Urban Dictionary it's wiping your butt with your hand when no TP is available. I've never heard the expression used in dog training or e-collar use?

Yeah, I know it was a joke. I read it a while back when Steve was still active here. I was just trying to lighten it up a bit.

The thread that started the "Dutch wipe" tangent got me to thinking about using the ecollar for punishment on dogs, particularly malis, trained for police work.  It shouldn't work, should it?

I'm not a professional but get to watch a couple of trainers in action.  As I understood it, you try to teach a police dog to react to pain by biting down even harder.  So if they were trying to get the dog to release by inflicting pain, it wasn't going to work.  And if it did work, didn't you just teach your dog that the answer to pain isn't to bite down harder?

People need to "separate the reality from the noise".

I was only tryi.g to point out "what trainers were trying to achieve" by placi.g the collar on the groin area.
EVERY one of the trainers reccomdnd the lowest setting.
Hey, I use an electric fence to keep my dogs in a large fenced area. Am I trying to inflict pain on them? NO, I AM NOT...Does the sho k hurt, HELL YES...Does it work? Like a champ!!!

There are some people out there who know how to use e-collars properly, but there are a lot of people out there using e-collars without a clue.
The result in Germany and in several other European countries was a law against these collars.
A pity for those who know how to use them, but very good for all the dogs that were mistreated by morons thinking they are the almighty god.
These people - and there are A LOT out there - won´t win anything with or without e-collar - but the dog always is the looser in this game...

Blitzen

You should have made it clear that METS wasn't a real training device.
I bet there were some reading your post that think there really is such a one :-(
