vk4, I've kept and trained large numbers of dog aggressive, and also human aggressive dogs, years and years before you were a glint in your daddy's eye. When one uses the term game or gameness regarding dogs, it has always meant just one thing. It was this way long before I was born. It doesn't matter if it's China, Ireland, Puerto Rico or Australia, Game means Game.

Aggression and Gameness are 2 totally different things. Gameness really doesn't have anything to do with aggression. The problem with the definition you found is, Gameness cannot be developed or trained. Gameness is a trait given in the womb. No way can Gameness be developed. It's either there, or not. The person who wrote that def, doesn't understand the term.
I own quite a few very aggressive dogs. They will attack anything on 4 legs with fur. They can cause lots of damage, but no way are they "Game". They are just aggressive. I also have a few Game Dogs, they are a whole different entity.

abhay geez, read erin's post, it does matter where you are in the world as how meaning of words can change, the entire world is not inside the US. read her post.
