Coated and long-haired are two different things. One is a serious fault, one is not. Lacking an undercoat is a serious fault in a GSD. Among acceptable coats, there are variations. The pics you posted are virtually useless to tell. On the website pics, he looks coated, not longhaired. His ear tufts and the significant wave, plus his tail texture are my clues. His ears do kind of look like someone trimmed them.

I'll amend to say long stock coat. which is a long coat, with an undercoat

He is a long coat. I gave one to my mother and he looked like this at about 6 months. The feathering and longer ear tufts won't show up until he's older.

Pictures are too small (at least for me) to make a guessing attempt. Is there any chance to make these pictures bigger?

Photos on the website link are much clearer;  pup
was months when they were taken.  There is a
little bit of hair in front of / inside ? the ear cavity,
but not as much as I would expect to see in a
longstock OR long open coated dog.  I believe that is
just part of the whole problem with this coat (which can
also be seen more clearly in the better pics).  I stand by
my prediction above !  Teeth Smile   There is a coated half-sister
on another current topic thred, for comparison.

Would a plush DNA as a longcoat?

Looking now at the pictures on the website I would say that this dog is a "slight" long stock coat and definitely not a standard coat.
However the coat might be he looks to be very nice dog with nice lineage.

Fixfrutta Kennel is I believe located in Serbia and they generally have decent dogs. However I have never dealt with them.

I do like their dog: Tyson Fixfrutta http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=741807-tyson-fixfrutta

This is my now 7 years old "coat" as a youngster. Only the ears are feathered.

Blitzen this dog came back DNA as short coat that carried for long coat.  Her sire DNA carries for long coat, dam was not tested.  This photo was taken at 9 months old.

Cmills  the picture that is on the PDB seems to be the one made from the breeder as it looks like Milos is stacking to pup.  Could they have switched the pup on you and that is why there is such a difference in coats
