I might be getting a puppy from Landschaft kennel in Illinois. I would just like to know more about this kennel and any opinions (both good and bad) about this kennel before I make final decisions. like, do they have a good breeding program that produces good puppies for sport and/or companion? Are there better kennels in the U.S. that anyone might recommend? Thank you. ~Lauren

You are in good hands with Marci and Craig. They know dogs and have been breeding them for a long time. Go with them and I think you will be happy.

I dont know the kennel but they sure have nice looking dogs.

Recommended for sure - they have good dogs and have lots of experience breeding good dogs.

I bought my pup from a breeder who is friends with the Landschaft kennel owners - they have many similarities between their operations and Landschaft owns the stud that produced my pup. (Jabina Fjolle) Not only am I in close contact with the litter mates of my pup, but it was a repeat breeding and I've seen several of the previous litter working very well in Schutzhund with awesome drive, outstanding tracking, handler focus and full mouth bites.
I'm very happy with my pup and while not having dealt with Landschaft directly know that they associate with great breeders and have an excellent stud.

I don't think you can go wrong with Landscaft. They have great bloodlines, long, long experience, and a super reputation.
