Does anyone know if this girl has a tatoo in her ear?

"Does anyone know if this girl has a tatoo in her ear?"

Redwindvz, that is a really good question. I blew up Lexi's photo and checked out her ears. No tattoo is visible on the hairless part of her ears, but there could be a tattoo higher up that is covered by hair. No way to tell without getting Lexi and clipping her ear hair.

Hoping Lexi is okay, but, from the info I have, combined with info from others who have posted, my belief is that something is amiss in this situation.
There are too many different stories coming from the shelter.

This supposed SAR person who is supposedly checking out Lexi today may be another scam by the Huntington shelter. I hope not.

Poor Lexi, at the mercy of people who have some sort of agenda, through no fault of her own.

The latest from the Huntington shelter is that the SAR lady took Lexi. I am trying to confirm or disconfirm this.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Mary and I work at the Huntington Co Humane Shelter where Lexi was, I wanted to let everyone know that we do our utmost to help
dogs get placed. Lexi is a shy/timid girl that needs a little help and I initially talked to a lady that does dog training in hopes of getting Lexi the help she needs
to be a successful placement (which we felt she needed first). She posted her here, and by that post we had a retired officer/trainer contact us among many many other
people who wanted to help. We made an appointment origionally for next Tuesday for the meet/greet of Lexi. But she was able to juggle her schedule to accomodate
a meeting today!! It's with great pleasure that I am able to tell all of you that Lexi has been picked up from our shelter and is in the capable hands of a K-9 handler/trainer.
She will keep us updated on her progress and success!!!
Thank You Everyone for being concerned for her....so were we and we wanted to be sure she went to a trainer first to help with the anxieties she has.
I am sure the lady will be posting that she has her!!
Thanks again!!

Lexie has been adopted out of the shelter and arrived at her new home today. Other than being overweight, she is in very good condition, and seemed very fond of the people at the shelter. They had detailed files of her disposition testing, and were upfront about Lexie's faults, as well as her good points. I hope she enjoys her new life out in the country, and will try to post some updates on FB.
