By the definition of standard you need something non-standard to stand out in the ring....the judges reward people breed it.

Xeph, a dogs can easily bend their backs, look at them when they're laying down curled up.
The position of the stack makes a huge difference..

As I said, I'd like to see a picture of the dog in a natural position.

Here is an example.......same dog, different pose - i know its the same dog, i own her.

I would be much more concerned if the dog were standing freely and had such a curve it its back...like this one.

Here is another picture of the same dog. The spine is less C-shaped, because the dog is stacked with the front feet forward of the vertical line, helping to disguise it. But NOTHING can possibly hide that very steep croup!

And I disagree about the handler pushing the butt down. If you look carefully, the hand is below the root of the tail, and is likely positioning the leg on the left side. Okay, the handler MAY have pushed the spine down before the photo was snapped, as you can see the hind legs are more bent in that photo than one one above.

You can have a steep croup with a straight or sway back too:

In the last to photos, once again the hind legs are positioned unnaturally far back and they are bent, this makes the dog look much worse then it is.

Look at the angle of the hock.

Here's a photo of Karman standing more naturally.
Looks like she just came out of a stack.

I'd like to see less loin length, back curve & rear angles on this last Karman, BUT, that dog is much better overall stucture & type wise than what I or SS posted IMO. And, the topline "Blends", the others the croup juts down and the tail root up.

All the same dog Waleed786? Looks best is the big picture to me.

Maybe Member Ibrahim will treat us to some input and the correct angle for the croup, with some visuals & lines? :)

I agree Karman has a very long loin, and is also cow hocked. IMO, beautiful gait, but not my type of dog.

The second photo walled posted is not Karman, its another dog from the feetback kennel, which was also pictured at bszs in 2013

Sorry but, IF that is what is considered acceotable conformation, I think people need glasses.

Them roach backs make me want to throw up.

And...very unfortunate, but I have seen several czech dogs that are coming like those, and was really disappointed in a few of the working line dogs being produced to look like that.

I don't care how you stack them, a roachback, is a roachback, is a roachback....

VERY unbecoming on a German Shepherd.
