Blkdog

by Blkdog on 02 August 2014 - 08:08

I purchased this import pup from a "professional" breeder in March 2014, I just received his papers about a month ago, he is almost 10 months old.  He was sold from the breeder in Germany to a breeder in NC and I purchased him from her.  I have had a very difficult time dealing with her and getting her to sign his papers for me to register him because he was sold to her from the breeder, well I finally met her to get them signed and this is what I got!  Now, I have been told that they are signed incorrectly by her and the breeder, my question is how do I go about getting this straightened out with out dealing with her ever again!!!  The information on the first line is hers, not the breeders, just his signature next to it and she signed below his.  Any help is much appreciated!

Thank you!

Hello,

she has to sign the first line also, the place where she signed is the signature of the seller(Verkaufer), next to it is the signature of the buyer(Kaufer).  When she signs the first line, confirming that she bought the dog, she has to fill your adress in the second line, and you confirm it by signing also.  Be sure that she was confirmed by the SV, the breeder of the pup has to inform the SV who he sold the pup to, the SV  will then issue an AKC Bescheinigung.

Thank you, from what I understand she already has the Bescheinigung but never gave it to me.  Do I need that to register him as well or can one be issued to me?

Yes you need it

You need to write your name, address, and the date of purchase in the second line, and subscribe on the right, next to the seller´s signature.
Afterwards I´d send an email to Sabine Leib, with a copy of the pedigrees. She is able to help, maybe it´s enough for the AKC-Bescheinigung. At least the seller subscribed, although one signature is missing ... Afterwards you either need to send the original pedigrees or a notarized copy to SV.

Kind regards

Issuance of an AKC-Bescheinigung
An AKC-Bescheinigung (Export Certification) can only be
issued for dogs that were imported directly from Germany to
the U.S. If the dog was import
ed from another country than
Germany, according to FCI regulations, the breed registry
office of the WUSV member organization of this country must
issue the AKC-Bescheinigung.
If the dog is not German bred (does not have German registra-
tion papers) but the previous owner resided in Germany, and
the dog was imported from Germany to the U.S. a
Bescheinigung can be issued. However, this is only possible if
the dog is individually registered with the SV first. The addi-
tional fee for the individual registration is Euro 28.00. Please
make sure that the dog is eligib
le for SV individual registration
before you make the purchase.
In order to issue the Bescheinigung, proof of proper transfer of
ownership is required. As proof of ownership the SV accepts
either the original pedigree or
a notarized copy of the pedigree.
The date of purchase as well as the name and complete mail-
ing address of the American owner must be listed in the
transfer of ownership section of
the pedigree. Also, all previous
owners must verify the sale of
the dog by signing the pedigree.
Furthermore, the SV Office needs the complete mailing
address of all previous owners
in the U.S. This can be docu-
mented by submitting a copy of
the AKC Registration Applica-
tion Form. The documents must be mailed to the SV Office;
faxed copies cannot be accepted.
The processing fee is Euro 15.50 per Bescheinigung plus an
additional Euro 8.18 for postage. The easiest way to pay for
this service is by Visa or MasterCard. Please submit the card
number, the expiration date and the three digit security code
on the back of the card.
Certification of stud certificat
es for AKC litter registration
(certified Deckbescheinigung)
A certified Deckbescheinigung can only be issued for breed-
ings that took place in Germany
. The original stud certificate
(Deckschein) must be submitted. Copies, even notarized
copies, of any kind cannot be accepted. The stud dog must be
registered with the SV and the owner, or signature authorized
person, must have his/her main residence in Germany.
It is not a requirement that the
dam is registered with the SV.
However, if the dam is regist
ered with the SV, proper transfer
of ownership for the dam must be provided. This is not
necessary if proof of ownership was submitted previously for
issuance of an AKC-Bescheinigung for the dam. The process-
ing fee and postage are the same as for the issuance of an
AKC-Bescheinigung (Export Certification).

With all due respect and sincerity. I am the buyers of the puppy and sold her this puppy. I offered to register the puppy AKC into her name as I did the other 3 siblings into the names of their buyers. All I need is for her to email a complete copy of the pink papers.. I need pictures of him from the front and from the side. She needs to email me the foreign registration with her information and mail me a check for $100 because that is the fee. She needs to order the DNA kit and send that in and then it is done. She said NO she would take care of it. I have the bescheiningung in my name and could have this done quickly. The offer is still open to her and I would be happy to do this for her.

Sincerely
Elena ortiz

This is like a soap opera...

ELENA, When you two met for the SECOND time, you should have given Elizabeth ALL of the paperwork she needed to register the dog with AKC.

All you need to do now, is print THIS form:

https://images.akc.org/pdf/ADIMPT_1112_stat.pdf

fill EVERYTHING in correctly, and mark a nice big red "X" where Elizabeth needs to sign it.

Then  MAIL it to her along with the Bescheinigung. I recommend making a nice COLOR copy of each paper BEFORE you mail it.

ELIZABETH, you should have checked and figured out what paperwork you needed from Elena BEFORE you two met the SECOND time.

After you get the CORRECTLY filled in FOREIGN REGISTRATION APPLICATION and the BESCHEINIGUNG from Elena, YOU will need to SIGN it, take TWO pictures of your dog, get the DNA swab done, have COLOR COPIES made of EVERYTHING, and mail ALL of this to AKC along with a check for the fee, which is now $100.

You have my email..  I will help you get this done if you need.
