Not all look normal to me, most I looked at do however. And only about 15% of the pedigrees have photos attached. The 2 progeny I linked above look to me like they have the potential to be used to breed overdone dogs. I also wonder if the Chinese who breed those mace bulk dogs use a hormonal supplement, testosterone or a growth hormone maybe,  to create that look. I'd still love to see their pedigrees.

Here is one more video which proves that the posted picture is not photo-shopped.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newsvideo/weirdnewsvideo/10797692/A-dogs-life-China-holds-first-shepherd-dog-festival.html#ooid=83bmxvbTqF-ZZ3k8p8u7yfewzp_nmutj

Chinese are destroying this breed, they should be banned from calling it German Shepherd Dog!

O my giddy aunt !  Seofred,  that bit of video is AWFUL.     & One of the exhibits

looked as though his ears were cropped ...

S0 pleased we had the earlier thred on these Chinese monstrosities, which showed

there IS still a following and a market there for GSDs as we know and love them, parallel

to these people.  But for how long ?

Disgusting as  it is, they also sell German Shepherd rugs over there.

I'm sure some of you that searched german shepherds china, came upon that.

It really is sad what is happening to the breed,

Hntrjmpr, that one is definitely photoshopped to an extent. You can see the distortion around the neck and face.

by joanro on 19 August 2014 - 02:08

They sure arent breeding them to be working dogs....can you imagine the sight of one of those deformities attempting to navigate around a herd of sheep?

by Blitzen on 19 August 2014 - 14:08

I feel sorry for the dogs. They can't have enough endurance to even enjoy a good run in the grass.
