Sorry? You did not just apologize hahaha no I agree with you for the most part I'm just not so sure the east line has more newbies versus other lines that's all the dog mix CzechDDR West good eye

It's not that they (East German lines) have more newbies in general. It's that newbies are more LIKELY to be sucked in my marketing ploys like has happened here. The shiny website phenomenon is what I mean. Not the dogs themselves; it's the marketing of them that attracts easy targets.

I love the VB site. They have their very own pedigree database, ugh. How special.

I'm a big fan of people getting what they deserve due diligence is on the buyer I had someone looking at one of my litters. And also a pup from this very litter I didn't like the person very much not a good feel so I didn't even try and educate them that it was not a east line breeding when they told me it is. Not speaking for this poster in this thread but I have no pity for those that don't follow through or unwilling to listen or gather the information they need to make an educated decision I don't like things like this happening to people it does give the line a black eye but in cases where people simply don't listen won't pay attention or do the due diligence that's natural selection at its finest

I agree it's not my "job" to educate buyers. The best buyers know their stuff. But I do it because it's better for the pups. No one deserves to buy one item and have another item shipped to them whether it's a car, puppy, or can of soup. Everyone deserves honesty.

Its still rather hard to believe someone would do that. Tattoo microchip if you have to go that far to get the right dog its probably best to move elsewhere. A hyped dog or fudge title is bad it ruins all trust, but sending a different dog may be tops behind massive sickly. Good luck to the op and your pup.

I hope things get worked out. Julie has always seemed really reasonable to me. Good luck OP!

Julie is completely lost her mind if she thinks these 2 pups are one in the same. As of right now this is where she is. Like I said before I love the pup we got and will spoil him as much as we can. I have talked to an Attorney i'm sure she will come to her senses. At least that is what I hope. All I wanted her to do is just admit that it is not the same pup and apologizes. It's not like i'm going to put him back on another 12 hour escapade flight back to Washington State. As a business owner she should stand behind her product and own it. At this point i'm sure i'm not going to get my papers for my pup. ( did not even know this until after she took my money)

I just think it is ashamed this is how she works. Consumer Fraud is what I would call it. Maybe I should bring her to court and make her come to Wisconsin to answer for it. From what I been told it can be filed in the state where the money was transferred.

All I wanted was a good pup that I can train. I am a disabled veteran and one day us as a service dog. I guess if you can't screw a Vet. who can you screw.

P.S. thanks for the great deal Julie.

No offense but we hear much worse stories than this on this board all the time.

Welcome to GSD world, its basically anyone who gets screwed deserves it for trusting others. The way it is unfortunately.

Thanks for doing right by the pup, its not your fault and it not this innocent animals fault.

And thank you for your service, shame this is how it is.

Its not a fact that the pup is not going to work out. The pedigree does not lend it self to a litter of unworkable dogs on paper. looking at the sire pedigree without a bunch of research into the dogs it looks like alot of dog could be produce from this breeding. My first thoughts on looking at the sire pedigree was not med drive service work. With that in mind you still may have a very workable service dog. Bait and switch is bull shit. Not to defended or condone it but I assure you... You can not pick a working dog by a picture and therefore no one gets a working dog pick from a puppy picture from me. I pick, I send. Any breeder who lets you plop down money on color collar for a pup to deliver on a specific work goal is move on dot com material.

The odds are still with you you might have something and in that case you still win despite any scumbaggery. You will get the papers others have explained the possible reasons. Your a vet, your are use to your country and countrymen screwing you over. You are also well versed in excelling with what you have available. That said, If that pup does not meet a qualified training programs expectation I will send you at no charge what you need. You now have lost nothing but trust in someone. Keep us posted and PM me for contact details should that be required.
