I explained it because not everyone reading the assassination attempt knows about this technique and I doubt many here could teach it effectively. I don't like it because it is a good way to get your dog hurt. In teaching the technique you can easily hurt the dog and then when the muzzle comes off most dogs will go back to arm and leg bites which are less stressful and feel better to the dog. It is really difficult to get a dog to charge in and punch a target in the chest at full speed and then go back to civilized biting. In the video with the GSD the helper was covering his face and rolling to keep the dog from getting to him even with a muzzle on. In the Mal video the dog was doing a great job of muzzle fighting but when the muzzle came off it was back to business as usual. Muzzle fighting techniques are good for a real protection or police dog to know but the problem is can the handler put it and keep it on cue in a real life situation or does the dog decide when to pull that arrow from the quiver on the spur of the moment. As far as the video and the Master Trainer snipers I would say people in glass houses .. who knows what was going on before and after that video .. the dog was young .. better for older and confident dogs. Those complaining should post videos of their dogs doing better at that age ... or doing muzzle fighting at all. Most IPO dogs wouldn't have a clue. There aren't many dogs trained on sleeves that will cross over to muzzle fighting and then cross back cleanly.

I reckon Bubba got closest to what is going on in the video when he points out how young the dog is. It is quite possible I am entirely wrong here - let's see what Hans has to say ! - but I'll tell you what it looks like to me is going on:
Handler has young puppy who is very people-friendly and does not want to even 'mouth' anyone, let alone learn proper 'attacking' biting, but the owner wants her as a sports or PP dog. So the helper/trainer said: "Put her on a muzzle and I will goad her and teach her it can be fun to bite" and that is what he is doing. Or trying to do. Will leave it to all you experienced guys to work out if he is succeeding or not.

I was debating if I should even dignify this idiotic assassination attempt with answer. It is easy to see unedited video of training in progress like this one and make fun of it and use it to degrade the trainer which here is done by people who can not stand on their own merit and thus to make them selves feel better they must degrade and make fun of others ACTUALLY working with their dogs.
Those people due to their insecurity almost never publish training videos in progress as I have done here on so many occasions. They rehearse and edit until perfect and only then publish. Their failures are private so they look like picture of perfection. Obviously naively, I am open book and this is part of my videos of a dog in progress used for my and my student's training purposes. I am not ashamed of any of it. Anybody who trains and is honest knows that training is not always picture perfect like painting by Rembrandt. This is a training video which should be and will be part of the series to show progress of this dog. Of course I was too naive and stupid, really, that I have not made it private, since it did not occur to me that people would be so low and rotten and use it in this malicious way.
Explanation of the video:
This dog is 2.5+ years old. Her name is LuvLuv. This is training in progress. Dog is used to muzzle but this is the first time she is doing muzzle attack. Obviously she hates muzzle during attack since it is an obstacle to her to engage in bite. I was hoping that the dog's high drive would take over her desire to get the muzzle off. and as you can see it eventually have. However the dog was too intelligent to attack while she has on her face object preventing her from biting. She is used to muzzle, but was trying to get rid of it so that she could effectively attack. Of course real trainer who actually trains dogs and doesn't just type and is honest about it will admit that training is not always perfect while it is in progress. Only true idiot or liar would make such assertion. Actually towards the end of the video you see the dog settle in and actually doing what she supposed to do. It is actually nice example of training progress.
As far as obscured titles goes, I was awarded those by school and my late teacher and mentor and dear friend whom I respect and love very much. He passed away and I, out of nostalgia did not remove the titles but kept it on my website. They remaind me of my friend and otherwise hvan no other siginficance to me and nowhere elese I ever mention them. It never occurred to me that someone could sink so low as to make fun of it.
I hope this helps.
