If anyone has done business with Cannine Enterprises beware. I sold a dog to them in July for $2000.00 the agreement was to let them try the dog out for a week, then if they liked him to send the funds. It was a gentlemens agreement. After 20-30 times trying to contact Buddy Lawson in late August, he finally made contact with me and sent $1000.00 and agreed to pay the balance in ten days. Since August he has not answered my calls or made any effort to contact me on the remaining 1000.00. I have noticed on Cannine Enterprises web site and this web site that he contiues to sell pups and older dogs. Which makes me wonder why he has not paid the balance on the K9 that is mine and is now in his possesion. Beware of Cannine Enterprises.

Well, I am in a similar situation.  I gave Start from Blackcreek Kennels in Ontario, Canada FULL payment for  a Dutch Shepherd puppy, paid for the puppy's flight, paid $100 for a crate (that must have cost half that) and paid him gas money to drive my puppy to the airport (only a 40 minute drive).

He took my money (that I send via Western Union and they charged me an extra $100) and when I went to the airport to pick up my puppy, no dog on the flight.  I am heartbroken.

Since then, Stuart and his fiancé Christina Rego have not returned my emails or phone calls.  They have not returned my money or my crate or anything.  I now have to seek a lawyer to settle this.

I do see on his site he advertises adult and trained dogs for thousands of dollars, yet he can't return my money to me.

BUYER BEWARD of Blackcreek Kennels and their deceit!

Shannen,   You are leaving quite a few details out. If you are going to tell a story please make sure to tell it in full.

Please mention that I have driven to the airport three times and on all three occasions could not send the dog due to your fault, not mine. You suggested COD payment for shipping but wanted me to pay and you gave me "your word" that you would pay me when he came??? No one would do this, as you are well aware, so I am not sure why you expect me to do so. On another occasion, I went to meet your friend at her house to drop off the pup and she could not wait (I was running 20 minutes late) and she left and did not answer her phone as I was trying to meet her at the airport and waited there for almost 2 hours trying to get a hold of her.

I offer no full refund, just a replacement pup, as you are well aware. I could have had that male pup into a good home 10 times during the time I was getting the run around from you. The funds I burned in gas and time sitting around at the airport while I could not get you on the phone. I went against our own policies and offered to send you the purchased crate ($89.00) and partial funds but you did not agree. You can reach me at the same number anytime as usual.

 Stuart,

I am so glad to hear from you!  Since you have not returned my emails, my phone calls, I thought you were just ignoring me.

I paid you in FULL for a puppy, and that was what we agreed to.  Then you added the cost of a crate, that is by all means fair as I didn’t expect you top pay for that, and if you did buy one for $89 then where is it?  You kept the crate right?

I am not looking for who's fault it is and who is to blame as that solves nothing.    I just want my money back since you did not send me my puppy or a replacement puppy from you. I think that is fair.

The COD payment was not an option so instead I called the airline and PAID for the flight in FULL on my credit card.  You suggested I give you my credit card number instead.  Not an option since I don't know you.  I would not expect you to pay for the flight so I called Air Canada myself and paid for it that day.

The occasion when you went to meet my friend is another story.   You were and hour late, not 20 minutes (or at least that what you told me)   and she has a flight to catch so had to leave.  There was not one phone call from you.  She had no choice.  AGAIN, I paid for his flight that night too (with Westjet on my credit card)  and no puppy.  I have paid twice to ship a puppy I have never received!  BTW...she kept her cell phone on and was asked by the flight attendant to turn it off once she boarded the plane. If you were there for 2 hours I am sorry but she called me 3 times from the airport, so I know her phone was on.  I tried you 4 times, and I got your voice mail.

I would be more than happy with a replacement pup and hope that we can put all this behind us.  Maybe we are both to blame in all of this, but either way, lets not flight about it.

I did accept your offer for the crate and partial refund, but I have not heard

Shannon PM me I have a friend (one of the guy Stuart gets his puppies from) that has a DS litter in the USA right now. Also if you do take legal action against Blackcreek Kennels please let me know as I wouild like to join up o n it with you. I am out $3900 USD, lost three contracts because of the guy and still have no dog. My goal now is to shut him down, since I am like you I can not get him on the phone, email or anything.
