Ugghh!!! Tried using the picture insert and got an error message from my server stating it would not allow cross linking even though I PAY for my servers every month!!! Hang on, will slap up those photos on a page and upload them real quick and post the link. So sorry about this. I thought for sure the "img" command would work!!!!!

Ok will definately be on the phone with customer service for my domain handler this afternoon, this is garbage. In the meantime since it is now not allowing me to post photos directly to a message board anymore telling me that it won't allow a "free site" to do so, ahem, I pay my bill EVERY MONTH for all 4 of my domains!!!!!

I have quickly slapped some photos up on a page on one of my domains relevant to this thread and to the next thread I need to respond to:

www.bluedogs.8m.com/pexamples.html

Sorry for the delay in replying to both these threads by the way. I have been in and out of the hospital this past month.

Again, more apologies, there was a typo in the hyperlink and I just now caught it and corrected it.

A few days ago my friend-breeder told me "there is no chance to get solid black puppies from a couple of black/tan parents". I don't think it's a truth. I believe it's no problem to get black puppies from black/tan male and female (of course if they both are carrying black  gene). Am I right or not ? Please help me :-)

If both the B/T parents have black recessive genes then yes statistically there is a 25% probability of the litter to be black.

Thank you Ibrahim. Maybe you know some examples of the pedigrees such blacks here on PDB ?

by Ibrahim on 04 December 2010 - 18:12

I do not know any pedigrees over here on the PDB but I know a breeder in Russia who produces solid black show line dogs and pedigrees have many black/tan dogs.

I know this breeder too, but in Russia they have black german shepherds with dominant black gene (I have no idea how they did it). I need to find black GSD from a B/T couple with recessive black gene.

I believe that is a very rare chance in show lines, but still maybe someone here knows of such dogs, good luck.
There is a better possibility for that in working line GSDs.
