Sue B

by Sue B on 18 February 2010 - 15:02

Then I say Congratulations Mr Brandon for at last making a start and achieveing some very successful results. May it continue with all his breeding stock in the future and hope that these few are not the start as well as the end of his future Health Screening regime for his dogs. I always believe in credit where its due so once again well done.
Regards

i second that Sue.well done Roy.

by arbeiter on 18 February 2010 - 17:02

Brandon may have done well to have hip scored a few dogs-but sue and noddi do they look like the International German Shep.I think not.
Linedancer can I pose you the same question I asked the other day-how many BREED champshows  do you enter each year and how many German Nationals as judges, have you entered under ?

by noddi on 18 February 2010 - 18:02

arbieter.i assure you that both sue and i ARE AWARE THAT HIS ANIMALS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THE INTERNATIONAL TYPE.that does not stop us from acknowledging and giving some credence to him for actually going and having his stock hip and elbow scored.we all had to start sometime even tho.most on the int.type side started with their 1st animal.i as sue stated believe in giving credit where its due.dont be so cynical ,they are finally seeing the light and isnt that a good thing for the breed if everyone health tests.

i am not getting into a slanging match with any body as to what show i do and do not go to that is not what this post is about.
Not all us Alsatianists are  Happy with Mr Brandon so lets leave it at that.

and so say all of us.i think this thread has run its course.we have more things to worry about than what type of animals Mr.Roy Brandon breeds.

by arbeiter on 18 February 2010 - 23:02

Linedancer.
Of course you dont want to discuss what Breed Club shows you enter-cos you wouldn't enter any for the fact the judge would place you at the back of the line-yes you get away with a few all breed shows because a little select band of alsation judges all stick together, and its so noticeable that the same names get judging appointments all the time.
If I am right in thinking your affix is strco-I rest my case.

noddi please dont put your tupence worth in-stick to toy town.

by linedancer 13 on 19 February 2010 - 00:02

you are just throwing your toys out of the pram because i will not come down to your level and yes i agree with Noddi this thread has run its course.

arbeiter.LET ME SAY I HAVE AS MUCH RIGHT TO PUT MY TUPENCE WORTH IN AS YU HAVE.iI do not live in toy town, far from it .i live in the real world where everyone has the freedom to do as they please(as long as it isnt illegal)if  Mr.Brandon and Linedancer(yes ,nina,s affix is STRCO)can breed their animals as they see fit as are we who favour the international type and as i said before my current show bitch is mostly german breeding with some english in the latter generations, and no i would not use an alsatian male.IMHO.many of wot you,re classing as alsatians are now a better type of animal than they were many years ago.im not the only 1 on the germanic side who has stated that they could live with Suzies bitch....CHAMPION LINSDOWN GEORGIA.in fact she was awarded BIS at an open show by a cc judge from the german side......MR.ANDREW WINFROW.i doubt you,ll slag andrew off as you,ll be offending the animals that he placed and the ticket winners from a few years back when he did east of england ch.show.i have even known a judge who,s partner is on the german side, who breeds gsd and another breed who did an open show and placedALSATIANS in front of GERMANIC DOGS....and why yu may ask.......BECAUSE THEY APPEAED SOUNDER AS THE GERMAN DOGS WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE AND WHY IS THIS,BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY ARE TAUGHT TO PULL TOO HEAVY INTO THE COLLARS,THUS DISTORTING THEIR TOPLINES AND MAKING THE DOGS SCRABBLE AT THE FRONT AND DIG IN TOO MUCH AT THE REAR THUS THROWING THEIR HOCKS OUT MAKING THEM LOOK UNSOUND WHEN THEY PROBABLY ARENT.my bitch has not been trained to do this, yes she does pull out at the end of the lead but in a controlled manner and ishe has won under all types of judges except for wont of a better word an alsatian judge and i aint been under any alsatian judges so really dont know if she would be placed or not.this is the last i have to say on the subject.lets all concentrate on the KC,not petty squabbles about type.Carole Spelman.RHEINMEISTER GSDS.
