But he is full show
Well, sorry I did not said that before, yes he is from show line family.

But like I said before I do have working line GSD's as well.

I think - the best dog is that, whom like his owner.
If you are happy with your dog - indifferently, how dog look out. Are good show and well as bad working lines, and calm small size dogs and quickly big

Shtal........are you an adult?......educated?
Obviously, you will do what you want....no matter what opinions or concerns are expressed by others in the breed and sports.
All this talk about protection and living with wolves is absolutely ridiculous........this is the year 2010......not 1810.
Needing huge animals for "protection" is just plain stupid thinking and conversation.....
I occasionally "glance" through your "never-ending" posts about your giant dog and your plans on creating breeding's, that truly only benefits your own agenda of lining your pockets...........
You simply get satisfaction, from aggravating anyone that opposes yours & anyone else's... intentional, destructive pursuit of this breed....
Breed what you want.......live where you want......make as much money as you wish.........no one can stop you.

Threads/posts like these should receive the "respect" that they deserve........NONE.
Don't irritate yourself, in trying to "explain, educate or rationalize" the OT.

This is just my opinion, nothing more.

Thanks for your opinion crhuerta.

When I was selectine this GSD pup, he was the biggest out of litter.
I recently talked to the breeder who I bought this GIant GSD, he was kinda surprise that my boy is taller then his Sire and Uncle. His sire is 27 inch tall and his Uncle is 27.5 inch tall, but my pup ended up the tallest - when my brother messuerd him - he was about ~29 inch tall, so it's not my fault; I love this boy the way he is.

He will serve his purpose for me.

About wolves, usually wolves don't come near people, but just in case I was simply asking - that is all.

I know what the world standard is 26 inch tall for GSD, but if people haver bigger GSD - then let be the way it is - in my book of judgment.

About breeding the dogs, I won't gurrantee that all pups will be as big as him, since his genaration is smaller and he is unique in his family because of generic size that some how he ended up so big.

If people like the standard size, that is good; I have 4 GSD that is standard size, I never expected that my giant boy will be bigger than his genaration - but since he is bigger - I will deal with him myself. I love my boy.

But my argument was that my giant boy that I love - he is not useless, so what - that he is big. I believe he could try to go and become somebody like SCH title, but I have no plans right now for him. I know SCH tittle will help me to sell the pups from him - when I will breed him. (My giant boy pedigree is not bad.)

From Shtal:)

Edit: I have big family, all my uncles and brothers are usually in 6 feet range tall, but in entire of my family one of my Uncle's he ended up about 6 feet and 8 inches tall; his daddy is less then 6 feet tall.

Shtal,

Your dog is not useless.....large or small......no dog is.
We all love our dogs, and "hopefully"...we will try to do best by them.
and.....I know the father of your dog personally,.... along with the owner of Rocco & the original breeder.
Rocco (has/had) very nice drives for the sport of Schutzhund.

I only want to explain to you, that your "comments" and "reasoning" for purposely breeding non standard sized GSD, goes against, one of the very traits, many breeders (including myself)...are trying to preserve.
Just because a person may "like" something....doesn't make it alright..........(but that goes for many scenarios in life.)

What future you hold for your dogs, is completely your business....none of ours.
I hope you make good decisions in your dog's future...and for this breed.
I apologize if my earlier post is harsh.......but emotions & rationality, drive many of us in this wonderful breed.
Best wishes,
R

Thanks! crhuerta.

I apologize myself as well.

I simply never wanted to go against of breaking the rules of what the standard was and is ---> here in this forums.

But some people love my dog, and they wanted to have puppys from him and I never expected that he will be very big when my goal was to breed the dogs.

I will never try to be on this forum like that again, I will change. That is my honestly.

Shtal:)

Edit: Here is my another honestly, when I was buying my giant puppy, I never knew or understand that their was a standard size existed, I simply thought the bigger the better.

Sometime in the future I will show you a video clip of him, honestly he has the speed and strenght in his blood from his fathers.

He also runs similar like West German Sieger Lines, if you guys saw the video you would agree with me. "The only different his back is straight and little curve on the end where his tale is"
