I was just browsing the pedigree of an old male that I owned, and found several other dogs that he "supposily" sired.  Only problem with that is that he has been dead since 2005, and this pup was apparently born in 2006.  AND NO, before you ask, I have NEVER had any of his semem frozen.  How can I get my dogs name off the pedigrees?  I am in the process of writing to AKC as I type, because I have proof of when my male passed!!!!!

AKC could care less! They registered 3 litters from my last American-line gsd, who not only was spayed at 6 months (before ever having a heat cycle), 2 of the liters were registered AFTER the bitch had been long dead. Mind you, I had advised AKC of a burglary at my home (complete with police report) in which her registration papers were stolen THREE years prior to ANY litter being registered. To add insult to injury, the AKC refused to tell me WHO registered these bogus liters, because only the "owner" can have that information.

AKC coupled with ethics and integrity is an oxymoronic concept.

That is complete BS and I wish I had some good answer and/or ideas to make AKC see the light and do the right thing but of course I don't. :o(  It is very sad, AKC should be ashamed.
