I have been feeding Eagle Pack Holistic Lamb & Rice to my GSD for the past 20 months. He is doing fine on it and have a lovely coat.  However, understand from my pet store, Eagle Pack is now owned by an Australian company and the name will be changed to Eagle Pro.  The kibbles will be manufactured in Australia and it is not sure whether there will be a change in formula.
My question, why is Eagle Pack is selling out ?  In case the Eagle Pro is not suitable, what is the next best alternatives brands that you guys can advise as a replacement.
Thanks

Good morning,I just read your concern and can tell you that first of all this company has sold over a year ago.It is not a recent change. The same company who bought Eagle Pack also now owns Wellness. It is the Baurwin(sp)company who now owns them.Im not sure of the proper company name but it is the people who make Aylmer Glue.(sp).As far as I know it will remain in the same place it is now.If you have any questions you should call there 1800 number and they are usually pretty good about giving info.Hope this helps

Yuck, I began using Eagle after the wheat scare. I use the Holistic because it is (or was)  made and packaged by them, I gues I will be calling the 800 number. Or I cold just tell my hubby that I have to retre so I can feed raw and cook for them!
