i think it is a dark stripe down the back.(skunk stripe).i dont think all dogs do anything the same.only time will tell if your bitch gets one.what makes a difference.maybe see if other bitches on the mother line have them.

I was just wondering I've her that it may related to hormones, so I was wondering do spayed females get them.
It doesn't matter to me she's my baby, I was just curious.

WAIT. Don't say bitch stripe. Say "girlie" stripe. It's nicer.

No it is not a dark stripe but mixed hairs some mistakenly call a "silverback".  I had my old girl spayed before 1 yr old and yes she had a bitch stripe.  IK had this dumb ass guy here in town tell me he had a silverback bitch and the color was so rare that she couldn't be registered.  Duh  whatever but you're still not using my male.

In my experience the bitch stripe has next to nothing to do with being spayed, it's a pigment thing.  I know intact bitches with solid black saddles, and spayed females with bitch stripes.  Sorry for not resizing this pic, but you can see quite clearly on the bitch on the far left, and the girl on the upper right has one as well, though not as pronounced. You can see a touch of it on the puppy, although at currently 17 months she has significantly less than her mother.

Absolutely true, I have seen it in intact and also altered males. As I said, it's pigmentation, which is a different thing from color.
