If you are talking about Welks 2009 the dog did not take BOB the bitch did  and took her 3 CC and made her CH Linsdown Georgia  i own her in partnership  with Suzie Barnes and Tony Mullard.

Just seen in the most recent breed record supplement, somebody has had 3 Lornaville dogs elbow scored...…

Uuuh... and?

If you are going to post something like that at least pass on the relevant information.

I don't do cryptic before my 3rd cup of coffee :)

nina, thats okay.i do ramble on at times.should make myself clear.i just wish that those on the english side who have the better bitches would chose to mate them to a german bred dog(meaning 1 bred here in the uk,which may also have a few lines to the more correct older lines)and then chose an animal that has better propotions and more lenght of foreleg.all i can say about those owners who have had their animals elbow scored is GOOD ON YA.Ambii we need to encourage these people and then more may follow.seems to me like some are now seeing the light and moving forward.they just need a little push.as my 1st bitch was half german and half english i could have gone either way.......i preferd the shape of the german dogs but my hubby prefered the english type as they were bigger(weight wise)and at that time more glamorous, both in coat quality and colour.my view was I HAD A GSD AND WANTED TO BE HIGHLY PLACED BY A JUDGE FROM GERMANY.didnt get that with cassie but have acheived it with her progeny(3rd mpd....GUS...at the 2 day show 1989,after leading the class for most of the time....judge from sweden i think.....owe buchmann)and others who have been shown since.i do know that quite a fair few who class themselves as english DO NOT LIKE MR.BRANDON,SO LETS NOT TAR THEM ALL WITH THE SAME BRUSH.i also personally think that a few of the english sides animals are of  a better type now.

AmbiiGSD  as this thread is about Lornaville alsatians Mark3 was merely pointing out that some Lornaville dogs had now been elbow scored. If you want more relevant info than that I suggest you look it up for yourself.

Miss Beeb – ‘Frankly, I don't give a damn if the KC and the Alsatianists revere the man.
I'm deliciously happy because we'll finally be "doing our own thing".’

If you are right about that and a critical mass refuse to sign the KC’s undertaking so that people can show the correct type under WUSV rules and standards without needing the ‘express permission’ of the KC to do so then I will be as happy as you are. That ‘if’ is the $64,000 question though….

Noddi – Thanks for the history. I am learning something :)

Petowner may I suggest that, I can't be arsed!

I was surprised actually as he never was one for health testing.  All 3 dogs’ hip and elbow scored, Lornaville Dark Lord, Lornaville Pearldiver and Lornaville Straight deal, when there are many out there who still aren’t doing elbows.
