You breed showline dogs and talk about the GSD being under threat??? That's a joke in itself. The biggest threat to the GSD is showline dogs period.

The impact of the Claire Balding & Caroline Kisko TV interview on the public is resonating around the country. Millions watched it. Add to that the many KC press statements and radio interviews about our breed. The messages I am receiving from breeders with puppies and stud dogs illustrate this very clearly. The KC campaign against our correct GSD is not only affecting exhibitors, it is affecting breeders, and this is going to get progressively worse if we do not unite and fight. I would advise GSD breeders to think very carefully if they are planning a litter.
Our correct international GSD enthusiasts have a simple but very important choice, fight back for our breed or be apathetic and suffer the consequences. There is NO middle road. If we decide to fight back, I believe I have proposed a very effective and appropriate strategy, which fits very firmly with our breeds approach with the Kennel Club over many years, by targeting the meaningful and measurable Health and Welfare of our breed through our Planned Improvement Programme (PIP). We have some powerful supporters out there waiting for us to "RISE TO THE CHALLENGE" - I hope we can shrug of any inclination of apathy over this and clearly and effectively support our correct international GSD breed here in Great Britain. We are at the crossroads for our breed, it's your choice, for each and every one of you! Stop looking for someone else or some other organisation/club to defend our breed. We are in this together, the PIP is ours, fight for it.
Believe me, when I say, the eyes of the GSD World are upon us!

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE AND FIRMLY BELIEVE IF THE BREED COUNCIL DOES NOT COME FORWARD VERY SOON WITH PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR ARE BREED THEN THE GSD LEAGUE SHOULD STEP FORWARD AND TAKE THE BREED FORWARD

What are the "ALSATIANS"? Are they different from showlines and workinglines of GSD? Can you show some pictures?

We cannot sit back and expect the GSD League to do everything for our breed. They are already developing and planning considerable progress opportunities for our breed.
The GSD Breed Council "leaders" cannot stay out of the "GSD public eye" on this challenge!
The GSD Partnership "ORGANISATIONS" cannot stay out of the "GSD public eye" on this challenge!
The GSD breed Council consists of some 40 breed clubs, they cannot hide behind the GSD Breed Council, can they? THEY ARE THE GSD BREED COUNCIL. They need to step up to the challenge, each and every one of them.
Each GSD breed club has members, each and every one of them needs to step up to this challenge.
Each and every GSD breeder and exhibitor needs to step up to the challenge.
We will all witness the GSD Clubs and the GSD Website owners that DO NOT step up to the challenge. The GSD "public eye" is watching!
"Avoidance of this challenge" will escalate the demise of the correct GSD in Great Britain for everybody involved with it!
