I haven't spotted this on another thread but apologies if it has been mentioned already. I have just spotted this on Facebook from Sean Kinsella and ask you all to read it and then get your thinking caps on to see if we can help....

Simone is the daughter of Frikki and Sonia van Kraayenberg. Many will remember Frikki judging Birmingham and Dist GSD Association Ch Show a couple of years ago.

Will donations help Simone Shirl? I`ve read her blog and it has left me in floods of tears and in awe of such a brave girl, perhaps we should all stop moaning about dogs, and see what real people of real families are suffering in such a brave way. I will make a donation to get the ball rolling if that is possibly going to help. Mo.

It seems to me she only has a chance if she can get potential donors tested.

If I can get 10 stud dog owners to pledge their dogs services then I will organise a stud dog raffle - it seems to go down well at the Sieger show. Please let me know if you can help

What a brilliant idea !!! I will pledge £50 and also if any-one wants to use my Orbit v Huhnegrab son Terry Von Der Furstenperle, the stud fee can go towards the fund. Mo (mom)

Shirley,i will also pledge 50 quid to the fund and will buy a ticket re.stud but havent any females to mate as mine are too old now and if i can have another little girlie next year,will still have to wait 2 years before old enough to mate,so if i win i,ll sell it to the highest bidder and pledge that too.Carole S.

The GSD League of Great Briatin have kindly agreed to collect all donations through their bank accounts - this will mean that we can cut down hassle and bank charges in transferring the donations to Simone's fund which is held in a foreign bank.

In order to avoid burdening the GSDL committee with any additional workload - I will collect and pass on any donations. I will be at NWPB, Midland Counties and Devon Shows if you want to see me there or e-mail me on mascani@btinternet.com and I will let you know where to send any donations.

I need 4 more stud pledges to get the stud dog draw off the ground.....
