jantie, I am continually amazed at your ability to throw your "curve ball" in my direction. First, you claim your views are backed up by a very well known SV judge. Who I know, and also know that he does not share your views.

Then you say poor things about a breeder, who in my 30 years of dogs, I have found to be one of the most honest and sincere breeders I have ever encountered. And I know this because I invest my time and finances to know.

And to those impressed with your "studies". There is quite a bit of difference in a witch hunt and a study. Maybe you find a few who, like you, are too foolish to understand this.

I am not mad at you. As a matter of fact I was tempted a couple of times myself to refresh people's memory about Mr. Jantie. But I have been reading his venom for so long now that I get kind of tired of it and would have ignored this if he had not posted that nonsense about me.

Silbersee, this person is a fool. He presents no GSD to show what is correct.

The only opinion worth considering on the GSD is from those who present a GSD to back up their opinion.

These who only present "mouth" and "studies" do nothing for the GSD. Those who believe these "facts" without a dog to back them up are as big a fool as the source of these "facts".

jantie, I will say again to you, do not tell me what a GSD should be. Show me with your own dog.

You have lost one dog to poor breeding. I have lost many. More than you can ever imagine. I do not think all is lost for the GSD. I just learn from my errors and go on from there.

And, if the SV does nothing for the GSD, than require H/E ratings, then they are correct in my world. I have seen and participated in the world where these requirements are not mandatory.

I have one male dog. His name is Gilbert vom Emkendorfer Park. He was never bought to be a stud dog. He is not a stud dog. He is my pet dog and I am very fond of him. If you look at his date of birth you will realise that ED scores were not mandatory at the time. You can also deduce that from the fact that he got his Erstankörung without an ED score. And I have never submitted him for his lebenzeit precisely because I never intend to breed from him. He is sleeping at my feet right now and I guess you can see his indifference to you from the expression on his face.

Now, I don't suppose you are ever going to produce any real evidence to support the allegations you have made about Zara. Do you have any comments to make about the stomach churning account of your actions by Missbeeb? Don't tell me. All the lawyers were in the pockets of the SV too.....

Now if you are so keen on breeding requirements, and bragging all over your website how stringent they are in Germany, you should have screened the elbows when you had him at the Körung for instance.
Now if you don't breed him (anymore!), you should tell your people the reason why, for instance because he has produced a dwarf puppy or what know not. THAT would be a fine documentation for potential customers. "Although we scrutinized half of the German requirements intensely, he's producing dwarfs! Sorry!"

Now I like Gilbert, he looks fine and certainly is a great pet. THAT is NOT the issue.
The issue is the State of the GSD in general (check the other thread: "Some interesting stuff about the SV...") and the many ways one is fooling oneselves, for instance by manipulating HD-results (OH MY GOD! It's true!! The moderate hip dysplasia has overnight changed into A-normal!!)

I'm not writing for them! So much is clear. I'm raising awareness and may I say, not in vain.
