The sport of Sch is more about the training. There is not much difference in one helper from the next, and if you do get a difference, like a while back when Armin Winkler was out there, you get dogs running.

The ring dogs at the "finals" have went through the selectiffs, where the decoys are also competing to see who gets to play at the final. Lets face it, it is a tougher sport, and there is not much you can do if your dog has a hole that needs fixing. If it is training, then sure, if it is character, there is no pattern to help the dog get through it.

Lastly, there are the jumps in FR. The dogs have to have power to be able to handle the pallisade, long jump and hurdle and not fall apart. How many of their dogs are only doing 3 or 4 trails a year ? Basco has 13 trials at 3 in a year if I remember correctly. Spines get banged up, dogs fall straight back on their tails off the pallisade, the dang long jump is pretty hard on their shoulders, Bomber, a MR3 here in the states broke his back doing the long jump. It is just way different.

yes I wrote with Daniel we have Vasco du val des hurles vent in Denmark bred by him and what a dog its such a shame that my female was not breed to him I really hoped that she could have been breed by Vasco sins I me and the breeder could agree on Lubeck and could not get a hold of Inox owner so we had to bred her to someone else

I would like though to buy a dog from Daniel

Nothing Armin did made a dog run....it was the dog plain and simple...I have had dogs run on me!
Sorry, but I don't care what sport you choose...the same applies to all....the character of the dog will show no matter how much training you do to hide it. I'm not saying the sport isn't tougher on the dogs physically..just stating that there are plenty of dogs that could do the ring excercises...if they were exposed to it.....

oh and by the way folks....Sam Beit Haboxer Mehagiva had a litter here in the states about 3 weeks ago. Mike Conley in Arkansas has the bitch...I believe a KNVP bitch...2 males...5 females!

What about the B litter from Burgdorfer Holz?  That was a very successful litter, most of the progeny (Asko Lutter x Hexe Waldwinkel) have competed at top levels, multiple times and seem to passing on their workability... just curious as one of my bitches is out of one of those dogs. and on the dam side, Mink/Fero free.

I think Asko Lutter will always be remembered, Olex De Valsory, the Salztalblick dogs and others that have been mentioned. Can't forget about the bitches, Schiffslache and Staattsmacht bitches have produced some nice dogs, Forma Karthago...too many to list.

Just jumping in to this topic now but AMEN BlackthornGSD!!!!

"Don't tell me that the only reason we're seeing Fero in so many pedigrees was just because he was popular and well advertised and thus bred a lot. He was popular because people liked what he produced and they liked what his sons produced and they liked what his sons' sons produced. That is, pretty much, the definition of an influential stud dog. Doesn't mean you have to like everything he produced, or that everything that is popular is good."

If we are mentioning future dogs that we will be talking about in the future, should these dogs be no more than 4 years old

Also has there been more than one star from their litter to make that breeding / pedigree awesome.

e.g.

Tyson von der Schiffslache  x Wilma vom Ketscher Wald

For me, these 3 dogs are awesome
there are lots of videos of these dogs....big, aggressive, serious dogs....       -

Myret, it is a shame that you could not get your bitch bred to Lubbeck. Laurent Liberal has some really nice breedings coming up, have you checked them out at all ?

Well, get going. LOL Enough of this silly stick with one sport crap, I am sure that you have done it long enough. : )

It is the physical considerations that I worry about the most. It is not easy to find out if a dog had to take a year off for injury. Some of them may only compete a few times a year, and that is also something that I am looking into finding out. I have seen some real nasty crashes on esquives where the dog misses by milimeters, and that is something to consider with all the dogs I hear with tendons rupturing.

I know that a while back I took Esko to south dakota, and he is used to the slick dead grass down here, where they slide. He got plenty of traction there and rolled and bounced a few times going after the ball. The look on his face was priceless.

who is Laurent ?

yes a damn shame that I could nnot breed her to Lubeck I really liked this dog he really reminds me of herself good temperement good with people ,kids and anyone , but have the drives and intensity that many gsd lacks ,

but I still hope that the pups will some of it anyway with this male the genes should be fine in the combination we used.

I have no idea why you listen to your breeder. I would have done it anyway.

http://www.chiens-de-france.com/site_eleveur/index.php?rub=chiens&page=fiche&ID_ELEVEUR=12528&ID_SITE=13998&ID_CHIEN=143432&TABLE=t_chien_03&TITRE=

This is his website. He is Esko's breeder.

Who is your breeder so people can see what a nightmare it would be to get a dog from him. : )

Jeff

I agree winkI do not know why I listened to him, it was probably because he before she went into heat that he still would not approve the males I suggested with, every time there was an excuse why he would not use the dog , he came with a threat if we do not chose him then  he wanted his money back he paid for the training of schh 1 silly me  . And wanted me to pay
