Nancy
It has nothing to do with this thread at all but Mr Grossman was the one to start the problem not me with his snide remark about Izzy, I do not let such things go by without standing my corner on a damn forum or face to face it has to be sorted thats my nature right or wrong
Mr Grossman
As i said you talk good but you come up empty, regards Gina she is trained by my brother with me helping him.
I do not say she will ever get to the Worlds itself but i know she will at least get to the selection trials in due time, and that is not a boasting comment it is something else in a person of which you would not understand going by your comments on here
YES, i knew there may be problems with two females but in this case only one was a problem Gina has never been a problem, It may well be my next Pup will be a female i do not know yet they are only 4 or 5  days old, Not all react the way Izzy did she was a smart dog but a hugely jealous one. Anyhow thats over she has gone I may have failed her i do not know but i do know it hurts to think i have, but nothing can change it and i hope she does well for the new owner, and she was not discarded as you put it so smugly lets hope you do not find yourself in such a postilion in the future for your dogs sake, She was not sold for money that is certain the amount i asked for her will not cover the next Pup,
However you have shown me what sort of Man you are, not a very good one in my estimation, You look for trouble on a website and you delight in trying to make others look stupid or small, quite the opposite of just speaking your mind you must get off on doing it, but as i said you got brownie points for the fence bit, But nothing but contempt from me for the Izzy bit.
Cheers Bob, now there is a fair straight forward thinking Guy, quite the opposite of Mr Grossman
Nancy, you can now go back to the original thread i think there is no more to be said to Mr Grossman and my apologies to all for breaking it up

Thanks xmod.  I only put this post on here to say how proud I am of my dog and how he is adjusting to his new living environment up to date.  He is perfectly happy and doing great.  That's all that matters to me, is that he's happy and healthy.

No problem, we all do it from time to time, I just wanted to bring it back before things got too heated.

Thanks as normal, I just spent the last five and half hours out in the fresh air with my dogs. I agree others could benefit with spending time in fresh air with THEIR dogs. Nothing like coming back to the house with dogs panting and damp from the over cast mountain air and the fresh scent clinging to them. Open the door and have them all flop into the living room floor unmoving while I now go cook dinner. We had an awesome b day for me spending time with them on trails, working obedience, then to the park and finished up with a splash in the pond before drying off and returning to the house. My dogs are happy, which makes me happy.  I extend it taking care of them to make sure they remain safe and be happy for a long life.  I wish every one else a wonderful day with their happy dogs.

I spend most of my outdoor time with my dogs on the weekend. During the week they have about a quarter acre fenced woods to hang out in and the some time in the evenings. So they ARE outside most of the time but 6 foot privacy fence is adequate in my neighborhood and I am home all day telecommuting.

In regards to the OP.....your dog, your call but maybe someone else reads the comments and does some research about wild animals in their locale.....and makes a different decision. Enough personal experience with friends' dogs running the underground fence to not trust them for containment and of course worthless at keeping things from outside getting in.
