I am registering my dog on the pedegree website and I found the grandmother which is already registered but I cannot link to my dog, what can I do?

Copy and paste the grandmoms name (that is already registered) when you are registering your dog.... The grandmom probably has a space or something that you are not typing in when registering your dog....

put the pedigree op here so we can help you

Or you could send me the info and I can put it in. What is probably happening is the name needs to be shortened and found in a pedigree search first and then enter the shortened name in the pedigree field, which will bring up the full name.
Please pm me the names of all dogs and I can add them when I get time.

Generally the best way to do it is to register from furthest back first. So if you know your dogs grandmother is in the database then you need to make a pedigree for the mother next and then your dog.
There are glitches in this database, so it may be you are running into that. I have had instances where I am trying to put in a dog that I am positive is already in the system but it will not find it no matter what I do. Sometimes I have to sign out then sign back in and then it will suddenly find the dog.
