   The British German Shepherd Dog Training Club will be hosting their first Regional Event held under WUSV rules and regulations on 23/07/11.
   SV Judge Peter Arth   dogs and bitches over 12 months old
   UK Judge Paul Bradley    dogs and bitches under 12 months old
   event includes long coat classes and  baby puppy classes 4-6 months old
   Schedules and entry forms are available for download via the club website   www.bgsdtc.net 
   Entries are still being accepted.

Videx GSD will be sponsoring a couple of classes. I certainly hope many others will support this Event with sponsorship, helpers, entries and their attendance. This Club is renowned for excellent GSD Shows in a wonderful venue. they deserve our fullest support.

Is there a breed survey at this show?

In reponse to several requests there will be a breed survey held at this event. Surveyor Nikki Farley.

We have received many messages of good luck from GSD folk re this event, from here in the UK and from overseas as well. We appreciate these messages of support.

For those unaware what is now happening here in the UK.
The British Regional Group has been formed to enable its member clubs to host regional events under WUSV rules and regulations.
For too long here in the UK the Kennel Club has attempted to dictate policies re the GSD and its exhibition. Approximately 18 months ago matters came to a head, which led to the formation of the BRG, with several KC registered clubs giving up their Championship Show status and the formation of new clubs.
The group by definintion is still in its infancy and some matters still have to be resolved, but these clubs deserve the support of the GSD international community and we would very much appreciate your support.

Thank you so could someone tell me how I enter a dog in the breed survey please? who do i get a form from and who do i pay?

Go to the Breed Council website http://www.gsdbreedcouncil.co.uk/  and download a form from there.  It gives you all details of what you need etc. 
If you've got any queries why not contact the Club direct and they'll help you.

I've emailed just waiting on a reply - forgot there was a form on there, better dig out my printer and see if it still works... Thanks Alyson  :)
