Aloysius,
I would echo Margaret N-J's comment.

So, are you going to pay the 2000 Euros?
Do you still want to buy a Jinopo dog?

JINOPO and AlpineK9 are equal partners. There are also others who can serve in certain remote regions. These people are good people who will serve the local people in such region. They get full support from us and we guarantee them our dogs and they in return guarantee such dogs to the local client. Many people feel that it is much better to deal with person in your country then with someone 1000 or 8000 miles away. These people are then providing many valuable services which can be done only on local bases. These partners sometimes come and go, but AlpineK9 and JINOPO are here to stay and continue to guarantee these dogs which originated from our kennels. In this particular case Jinopo decided that it is too difficult to get dogs to Great Britain and accepted offer of A1K9 who is located in GB to facilitate the process . That will help to provide a better service to a the local buyer.
Some may think that they are unnecessary middle man and that it is better to save and go directly to Czech and buy a dog directly from breeder who advertise on Internet. They are entitled to their opinion. However A1K9 provide extremely valuable service for in GB clients. They integrity is great. Thus you can take a chance and go directly to potentially fly by night breeder of questionable background deal with quarantine procedures, and transportation and many innumerable issues on your own or deal with someone who will provide for you excellent and valuable service and all you have to do is to get the pup or dog at the airport or pick in person form this breeder. This outfit A1K9 will then help you to train the dog and will support the owner of a new pup all the way. Some appreciate it and some do not. I admire their pioneer spirit, but let me tell you to import a dog to island country( no rabies) is not walk through the roses.

Dear Skyhorse,
At this stage I may go ahead. Firstly I am making sure everything is ready for a new pup, doing my essential reading on nutrition/dog care/ schutzhund etc. I've been doing this for a few months now and thanks to the fantastic comments I am adding to my resaearch and roughly now where I stand. This would be my first working line GSD, I grew up with a showline german shepherd ( which belonged to my parents) so I guess I am a newby but I just want to make sure I do things right the first time. I want to offer my new dog, first and foremost a home for life and the best start in life it could possably have. I've been looking at books on what to feed sports dogs, how to avoid hip displasia as its not entirely caused by genetics, there are other factors such as over excersing at a young age etc that influence hip problems and I have been looking at nearby Schutzhund clubs to join once I have my dog.
I am actually quite excited about all this process, but I have taken on board the comments, especially those that mentioned getting an older pup, I may well do so. Below are the rules of entry, as of 1st January 2012 :
For your pet to enter the UK from these countries, you must answer ‘yes’ to the following questions: • Is it microchipped? • Is your pet currently vaccinated against rabies? • Was it vaccinated after it was microchipped? • Have you got an EU Pet Passport or Official Veterinary Health Certificate* from your vet certifying the microchip and vaccination? • Have 21 days passed since it was vaccinated? • Are you travelling into the UK with your pet on an approved route?*** • Have you treated your dog for tapeworm 1-5 days before its arrival in the UK?

As far as I know a pup can have its first rabbies vaccine at 12 weeks

Finally I would just like to thank you all for your comments and wish you a very eventful new years eve and a prosperous new year. May 2012 be your year !!!
