This stud in Ontario is DM clear as well.
He's a nice dog too!

My female is out of DM clear parents - testing as soon as the kit is delivered but she is N/N as is the rest of her litter (and previous).

"One more done!"

I agree.  This is a great way to stop this aweful devil from striking our beloved dogs and rid of it in our GSDs.
Keep up the good work Breeders!

Just a reminder that the results of this test are not to be used to eliminate dogs from breeding programs. Carriers and at risks can still be used.

Elisabeth, maybe I misunderstood your post. If  your dog is out of normal parents, you don't need to test your dog. OFA will issue a cleared by parentage certificate. No one needs to test dogs when both parents are normal since all the puppies will be normal too.

Blitzin, yes I am aware, although I have contacted OFA and no one has responded as to HOW I can recieve the clearance or the price of it. Anyone have this information? Would be extremely helpful.

Should just add - I know I must submitt the parents paperwork but was hoping to find out if copies would be okay to send instead of the originals. Also, was wondering if I need to fill anything out or just send in the paperwork with a letter? How do I prove my pup is out of those parents - just send my pedigree? Thanks, everyone. ;)

I don't know, Elisabeth. OFA has always answered every post I sent. Maybe you should try again to make sure they received it?
